My Dad Charlie Morris played lead Tenor and Clarinet with this orchestra from the very late 30's until Spring 1942 when he entered the Army Air Corp and performed with the Wright Patterson Flying Band during WWII. I've come across a few of the numbers he recorded with Tomy Tucker but not this one before. He also performed back-up with the vocal group. Thanks so much for posting this!

Terrific! How exciting it must have been to buy this new and bring it home to play! Super romantic recording that likely made for a sweet setting for a young couple in love!
@skinnyblinddude Yes, I sometimes wish I lived in that era, but then I don't know if I'd be around today to share these great tunes. :-) Thanks for tuning in.
@sideshowtink Thank you Tink! I'm glad you like this version too. :-) I've got a few more of theirs that I'm going to post over the next several days. They have a really good "sweet" sound.
Thank you for posting this version. 'Tis wonderful.

Recorded on June 26, 1941. Tommy "covered" this because The Ink Spots successfully revived it on Decca at the time...

She drags a little, especially in the beginning.
Otherwise sweet.
Thanks

Great record and history to go with the recording. Tell me what is the record player you are playing this record on?
Kind regards
