  • Too Fast, I think.

  • Amazing version - well done!

  • This song reminds me of my mother and I, together, when I was a small child... It reminds me of all the wonderful, fun times we had together.. But due to a battle with cancer, she passed away... It's such a shame, as she was such a beautiful person, inside and out. This song just reminds me so vividly of her.. Her smile, her pressence, her joyful aura... This song is truly beautifuland exquisitely lovely.

  • :)

  • i 'm not sure even who is playing this piece, some one know who playing? I don' t think this is a best performance at all, there are no meanings and imagination. i agree with PrinceFM1 thank you, listen Ivry Gitlis !!!!!!!

  • @Duke33111 Owno! I hate the Gitlis-version of Salut...!

  • @Gspijkenisse

This is very musical playing!!I don't like neither Ivry Gitlis playing..

  • @Duke33111 It was the great Midori who was playing here.

  • @Duke33111 This is Midori Goto. (: She's fantastic. Check out Nocturne in C sharp minor, and see if you think she has no meaning or imagination then.

  • ahhh so beautiful. It's a shame classical music has a bad reputation on people now as old people music. IT IS NOT it is beautiful and undescribable.

  • I literally got goosebumps @ 1:25-26, amazing! Oh my violin teacher always had his lesson after Midori and just be like, "Wow... just wow."

  • this music... has a lot meanings for me... as I always hear, and I saw an imagination of a happy story... =) WELL DONE TO YOU \(^^)/... and WELL DONE TO THE MUSICIAN TOO!!! I LIKE IT SO MUCH...

  • Nice, but the best permofance what I ever heard is from Gitlis!!!

  • I played this piece as one of three solos for my college audition to be a music major...I believe it was this piece that won them over since it's so pretty and unique from what I was hearing from others. :)

  • touching and endearing..music that touches the very essence of the soul.

  • Beau morceau et belle interprétation

    Je vous propose notre version

    Michel et Jean

  • Cute.

  • wonderful

  • Perfect. This is very well performed! An excellent performance it was.

  • I learnt this at piano lessons - my elderly music master had been in Elgar`s cathedral choir as a boy.

Why not try Vengerov playing Meditation from Thais & tell me what you think?

  • Lovely performance. thank you!

  • No probs. Unfortunately the quality of this piece has decreased a lot when I made this video.
