Indeed-there are many Arabs in Israel who are NOT Muslim.
She is different from many as you say.
I do not find, however, the Muslims as tolerant as one would have us believe.
Indeed, Gaza has become a haven for terrorists since Israel left it in 2005.
Still -she is an intellectual and has spoken about women's life in Israel--
and I for one, would like to hear the CHRISTIAN view of Israel as they are leaving Israel-the birth of Christianity and Judaism. She indeed is a remarkable person.

La creme de la creme of Palestine! Palestinian women are so different because they're more intellectual than the rest of their Arab counterparts.
And she's at UC Berekley where a precious one I know is soon going!
What I would do to write like her! Not in a thousand years, unfortuantely! I agree with the great one about language and one's love for it. Language is the source and spring of life eternal. What a brilliant woman; she makes one so proud to be Palestinian!
