  • 3 years later they would make history at LiveAid 85

  • Grab the audio from this song at tubepull doht cohm.

  • 1) A couple of the greatest moments: :36 - :38 Excellent kick Bono kickstarts the song with. & 1:31 - 1:33 when he tells Adam, Larry, & Edge "See You Later!" 2) I think this might be the thing he later said Adam, Larry, & Edge were really mad at him for doing because it was not planned- or if they had any idea he might do something like that they didnt think he would stay away from the stage so long. 3) I think Larry said he was going to quit because of it. They were still learning, growing.:)

  • if you don't know: electric co.

  • Adam Clayton - guilty of some of the greatest fashion crimes of the 1980s.

  • 82 my birth year!!!... dont like u2 but LOVE roskilde and been there 5-6 times

  • That umbrella is soooo rock and roll lol!

  • Why the barbed wire at a festival? Looks like they are playing in a prison yard!!

Dann stimmt die URL - dann also aufrufen! Viel Spaß!

  • only Bono would climb up on a barbed wire fence to get an umbrella!

    great footage! thanks

  • Special

  • Give Bono the damn umbrella!

  • I have had the same problem with bass players. It can only be your only agenda until your found out..................

    Good Luck

  • I love the early U2.

  • :) mt LOS ANGELES CA

  • There is something about the Edge. His guitar tone is the kind that is made to be played in these outdoor huge concerts. He certainly doesn't have the chops of some guitar players; but his style is his and from the heart and really makes U2 the band they are.

  • I don't agree, IMO Larry has got a great tecnique

  • is bono drunk? great anyway

  • Real fun to see!

  • I was there, 26 years old at the time, all though i was a bit pissed at the time, i remember very well when Bono climbed the crane and sang hoisted over the crowd, great memories

  • Great! What Luck!

  • Very young, but even then, they were good.

  • Wow! Paul Hewson decides to meet the audience climbing the barbed wire in the process! Electric Co was always one of U2's best tunes. My God, wild days when U2 were young, eh!

  • Yeah!! They were very, very young!

  • OMG

good video, but the audio volume isn't good

  • the drumming in this song is crazy shit. This is definetely one of the harder Mullen Jr songs to play on drums. Showcases why Mullen Jr is the greatest rock drummer of all time.

  • hey I like Larry Mullin alot and he is a good drummer but his drumming is simple. He is like the Edge, they play simple but sound great

  • Sunday bloody sunday isnt that simple, I would say he's a great drummer, not that i have any drums experience.

  • Its interesting to read about Larry. He is known as the straight headed of the bunch, and he shys away from media attention. His drumming style sort of reflects that. He keeps the songs together (and has kept the band together).

  • ROSKILDE STYRER is that barbed wire in front of the stage?? crazy shit!!

  • thanks you man. here in argentina!

  • Gracias desde Madrid España!

  • ¡De nada! Saludos desde Madrid, España

  • CRAZY MOFO BONO!!
