  • they should slow it down - we are not the freaks we were- I want to hear the words-lol

  • Well people they still got it .Went to see them at Byron Bay Bluesfest over easter 2010 and they were amazing.Glad to hear that some things don't change unless it is for the better,,they were well rehearsed and the sound was fantastic. It brought back memories from over the decades and made one old rocker feel quite proud of his generation.

  • Have to correct a few of you....Burgess and Fenn were always involved with the band and Paul Burgess played drums with 10cc for 30 years in the studio and on live dates. Graham is an amazing talent penning massive hits and chart toppers from the 60's. The fact that Eric and the others left was because they had lost interest and the last few concerts they played lacked the energy and excitement that is now back with Graham and Rick etc. The concept of 10cc was evolution and that is the case today

  • mmmm.. Sounds distinctly like corporation bullshit to me paisleygerry. You can fool some of the people......

  • Rick Fenn was definitely NOT in the original line up - I used to work with him in a record store in Manchester before he joined 10cc.

  • If every band disbanded when anyone left there would be no bands ..there would be no Beach Boys, or Take That , Tremeloes etc I meant Rick was there in the mid 70's so that's a long time in my book. People seem obsessed by originality when really I prefer evolution. That is the philosophy Lol and others lived by ...they progressed and evolved..when something dies a new flower takes it place..people leave and a new member comes in to work within the original concept ..it's how the WORLD works

  • So say what you mean...

  • @paisleygerry - Paul Burgess often played drums for them live in the early-mid 70s but Rick Fenn was not involved until Godley & Creme left in 1976.

  • Fenn and Bergess were not in the original lineup. They showed up after Godley and Creme left the band.

The original lineup was Eric Stewart, Graham Gould,Kevin Godley and Lol Creme

  • We went to watch them in Southport 9/5, excellent. Considering Graham wrote most of the stuff for 10cc and he still has the original lead guitarist Rick Fenn and original drummer Paul Bergess and they still sound like 10cc THEY ARE 10cc they are all brilliant musicians and anyone who has a problem that Eric isn't with them is forgetting the music genius that is still there.

  • Except that neither Rick Fenn nor Paul Burgess are original members. They joined when Lol Creme and Kevin Godley left.

And valentine baby is spot on - as great as Gouldman is, it just isnt 10cc without Stewart.

Now its just a cover band....

  • Fenn and Bergess were not part of the original lineup.

They replaced Kevin Godley and Lol Creme when they left the band in the early eighties.

  • No one could deny the musical talents of Graham Gouldman, but 10cc without Eric Stewart is like taking the wettt out of water... :)

  • Fave Band of mine in 70s. V V V clever. Made money AND music

  • There's only one member left from Badfinger and he still tours under that name... It's a tribute to the "music" not really about the members.

  • A bit like Queen and Paul Rodgers.

  • even extremer in reducing original members^^

  • why is it???

  • Well, It's like Ringo calling himself The Beatles! Plain silly.

  • yeah!, i take your point. :)lol

  • ...between you and me I think it's ssssss-sillay ! Simply Superb !

  • happened that is!!

  • What happeded to 10cc anyway?

  • 10cc are/were very underated, a very clever band.

  • My favourite song of theirs!

  • Is it Gouldman who talks before the song begins?

  • Yep, that's GiGi alright. Still goin' strong!

  • Mick Wilson: Lead Vocal. He also plays percussion and guitar.

Graham Gouldman: Bass, Vocal. He also plays guitar and sings lead vocal.

Rick Fenn: Lead guitar, Vocal, and on this occasion the piano bit :D

Keith Hayman: The bald guy on guitar. He normally plays keyboards and also sings backing vocal during the acoustic set.

Paul Burgess: Drums. He also plays percussion.

    All just top musicians...

  • Graham Gouldman is a musical genius, man...

  • Does anybody know exactly who is playing what during this performance?

  • Stolen by Pat Benatar -- "Heartbreaker".

  • that rocked! I got front row tickets to their show in Salisbury in november!

  • Well it sounded like the original except the end of it. Im happy to see Graham doing so well after all these years. He's one the best songwriters in the world and still going strong.

  • dank je wel!

  • Didn't Lol Creme and Kevin Godley do the original vocals?

  • It was a collaboration of Eric, Lol and Kevin with the original vocals; written by Eric and Lol.

  • Thanks for the upload ^_^ I was starting to think I was the only one who liked this song.

  • I loved it, it was played a lot more on the 70's pirate stations.

  • This is one of my favorite 10cc songs.

  • Aww, yeah. I don't know what it is about the song, but it just appeals to me. Forget songs like "I'm Not In Love". This one just stands out to me among their others. Good job posting. I couldn't find this anywhere for months.
