The emotion displayed in this song took my breath away. I can only hope to evoke half as much as you do in your music... This one is definitely going on my "HRS Favorites" playlist!
I pictured myself in a wide field, with a small town near by. The sky was completely gray, and it was drizzling. I fell asleep in the grass, and when I woke up, it was night, and the rain was pouring. When I saw the town again, I started towards it. I made my way through a dark forest, swam up a small creek, made my way to a house, and attempted to enter, but it was locked. The rain became even harder then. After that, I walked up the road, and it suddenly transformed back into the field.
I picture someone soaring in the air through a beautifully star lit night and suddenly they come upon a small town of about 5-7 houses in the middle of a flat, grassy plain. In this town it is always night - the people in it suffer from eternal sadness and no one can escape from the sorrow that resonates from the town - Not even death can put a stop to the depression from this place
sooo evocative. It made me think of a park about an hour away from my home- there's a lake with geese and park benches around. I spent the morning there, under a cloudy sky... :)
For some reason I thought of a group of people in a pretty large log cabin house at a beautiful landscape or beautiful forest listening to this piece over a battery powered turntable (lol) while playing cards. XD That what I thought especially at the middle of the piece.
@Arrow9100kj But putting that humorous banter between you and Alpha....this feels like a theme for an opening scene of a movie. The intro is very gentle so I imagine a protagonist waking up in an unknown area with a pretty girl hanging over him perhaps =P? They ask each other questions and the protagonist learns about his situation.....Hmmm...the ostinatos make me think that something mysterious is going on but I cant quite put my finger on it >.<. Its a really nice comp tho, is the piano Ivory?
reminds me of the first ride i had on the perth/midland train line after seeing "far beyond the clouds" specifically the moment i passed the old "cresco i grow" building and realized that it looked like all the old dilapidated sheds from that film. it was sunset there were those tall, soft clouds that Shinkai is fond of, it looked like a shot from the film and was magical, three weeks later demolition trucks showed up and now its gone. i never got a chance to capture it on film like i wanted T_T
i feel like driving down a very long highway, kind of regretting something or lamenting wistfully. then a quiet before the storm, then thunderstorm rolls in with rain dropping in.
