  • omg one day!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is an awesome bike. PERIOD. But it bugs me to see that we get all these "managers, general directors, promotions manager, sales representative" guys who, to be honest, I believe don't have any clue about anything except praise the bike because it's their job. I want to see the guy who INVENTED all this stuff, maybe not a guy, but the team! I wanna hear THEM and the riders... Too bad everything revolves around money these days, but this bike is worth every penny.

  • LEFTY that's all i have to say....

  • All you guys with the mtb's suck thats why you ride them...i got a 20 inch racing bmx bike and i leave the guys with mtb's behind

My bikes 10x faster then any mtb and jumps better and i can do nice 180's 360's(from being on the ground not going off a jump) ...can your little mtbs do that...

  • Umm yeah.Quite well.

    Mtb's kick ass.

  • i doubt u ever even laid a wheel on rocky and dirt path

  • I bet you suck your dads cock

  • A bmx is just a toy.. you'll get over it eventually

  • @FOXZACHRACING

BMX is for Mexicans. That's all I can say. You're just a beaner on a little tyke's bike with tiny little wheels...

  • @Pezdetz666 you, my not so friend, should go fuck your self. Find me a mexican who can afford to spend, rather, HAVE, upwards of 2 grand to spend on a bmx bike, and be willing to spend the time and effort to get good. Just because you dont care for it, dosent mean you need to go at it like a little bitch. you gosh darned cunt.

  • @MrJizzpile I'm Mexican with 3 mountain bikes and a road bike (all Treks). My first bike was a Fuel ex 8. From that I graduated to a Remedy 9 (Carbon). Now, not only do I have a Fuel ex8 and a Remedy, but I've also added the Scratch Coil and a Madone 7. Added them up, and you have well over 12k in bikes. So there you have it. I'm sure it's hard for you to grasp the notion that a Mexican can afford such bikes... Dwell on it.. just don't shoot yourself.

  • I have the 08 fuel ex 8 and it didn't come with a seatpost QR, the shop that sold it to me said the frame was too weak to accommodate frequent flexing in the seat area that's why it didn't come with a QR, it was a X-country bike and those bikes are a set and leave scenario. I would like to lower my seat on the trail for downhill but it just sucks to have to break out an allen key to do it, can a QR be used without causing trouble?

  • Ah... what the fuck are you talking about, the DO come with QR... i mean, its STOCK. WTF?

  • mine didn't come with a seat post qr.

  • still can't decide between fuel ex 9 and remedy 9. what should i get?

  • I'd like to intro-DUCHE to you, the 2008 Fuel EX.......haha

  • HAHAHAHA

  • new to the sport and thinking about getting a fuel ex 5.5. don't have a lot of money to spend but want to get something that is worth the money. is the 5.5 enough bike to meet my needs?

  • well i think you should buy a hardtail if you are a beginner. I recommend the trek 8000 or the 6700. if you still don't know, ask you local bikestore :)

  • screw hard tails buddy. Once you got F/S you'll never go back. So much more comfortable and SOOO much more grip. Idk about you... but in the east I can get major rear wheel slip on some uphill stuff. The f/s allows the rear to dig in a little.

U don't got much money? Not many do. No problem. Go a few years down. That's what I did. Got a 2006 EX7. Also... you can save a lot of money buying second hand. Ever hear of a bike wearing out? Not a chance. It's a good deal. But I like specialized more.

  • u can get a hardtail or a full suspension.

i had a hardtail and then i went to a used bike thing one weekend and got a prophet 1000 from cannondale for $900 instead of $2600 so i would suggest looking at some used bikes also

  • The 5.5 is more than enough for someone new. I bought one for my son and was VERY impressed by it.

  • TREK for life

  • Thanks everyone for your Trek advice/reviews. Going to drop by my local Trek store today.

  • So, a few months into mine, and I've gotta say, I LOVE the difference. I went from a 2004 Fuel 70 to this, and of course, it's a night and day difference. I've owned hard-tail and dual suspension and the Pro-Pedal mode is darn close to hard-tail. I'm able to shred and flick the back much more easily than with my Fuel 70.

  • if only that came with 29s...

  • yea but that won't happen..not in the next few years anyway (Gary Fisher design, and Trek doesn't want to use it.)

  • did they kill that guy just to make a point about brakes? and also you could just not slam on your brakes, that would work too, or buy a hardtail, lol

  • i'm a newb cyclist. If i bought this it would be for just riding to work. Would this be fine or should i look else where.

  • this is about $5000 overkill you should probably get a $300 trek 3700 or 4500 for $500

  • ??? eeh, ??? in the part where the guy crashes, he was paddling, how can you break while paddling???

  • good point

  • One way to not crash is to not suck. Just a thought.

  • This video was shown during Apple Pro Series seminar in London on 26/03/08. It is really cool how they made it!

  • me and my girlfriend have treks!! my girlfriends is a 4500 and mine is a 4900 we love trek bikes!!!!!

  • i love my trek 3700

  • COOL I WILL BUY THAT BICYCLE !

  • I love the part where the guy crashes, lol, that's some brake jack!
