Just curious, where are people getting that Aoi is a geisha? The only thing I've read about her even close to that is that she enjoys paper fan dancing. If anything, she's a miko, with all of her stages being shrines and her traditional shrine maiden apparel.

The Moves part of this video can't really be counted. This fraction of her moves is only of standard combos, and doesn't correctly show her abilities; the majority of her moves involve dancing around the enemy, fluidly and not stiff at all

Kokoro wins. Although the looks and the outfits are entirely opinion based, I'll just say that Kokoro wins those because I like her outfits and looks better. As for the moves, Aoi just looks like she's kicking around in a very basic form, which isn't a bad thing, but I think Kokoro's moves are much more precise and graceful. So, I say Kokoro wins based on those reasons.

i have both DOA4 and virtua fighter 5. i seem to be more deeper into the martial goodness of VF5 , its deeper, more invovled and ya gotta learn the curves of the characters to master them. with Doa its more of a pick up and kick ass game. not too much a learning curve and not as deep but its got the reveral system that easy to do and can get some wild see saw matches going with right timing. Doa4 moves faster but Vf is more realistic . the girls in both are nice but doa is all anime style.

Aoi wins this hands down! realistic beauty, her style is more akido ju jitsu and not like kokoro who style is the same as akira in VF. Aoi style is more about patience and timing rather than brute force and speedy attacks with lightining quick burst movements. its all about your personal play style. for me i like kokoro for the speed but for fluidity and deepness i take Aoi.Beauty wise... Aoi is my kind of date. lol

Aoi looks traditionally Japanese.

(Look up the jpop singer 椿 Tsubaki. Aoi looks exactly like her.)

In terms of who I prefer it would also have to be Aoi, because yet again she looks more traditionally Japanese. She has that whole miko look going on.

Yeah. I really think the last section 'Outfits' is unfair. What Aoi wears is (mostly) traditional Aikido attire, with little hints of fashionability (because she's still a girl), where as Tecmo has the tendency to dress their female characters like sluts, wearing things that no sensible female martial artist would wear to a tournament.

Aoi also does NOT look like a guy. She just doesn't look like some giant-breasted anime doll. Aoi wins, because she's realistic.

What evidence do you have that DOA4 is a better game than VF5? The fact that you can mash counters and probably succeed, due to the fact that you have 22 frames, rather than 3?

VF5 actually takes skill. Their characters are realistic, fighting styles are represented honestly and accurately, and Sega doesn't whore their girls out to every desperate fanboy to make a quick buck. DOA stopped being a good fighting game after DOA2U, where as Virtua Fighter only continues to improve.

My only complaint is that you cannot play as Kokoro in that pink (blue in this video) kimono she wears. If you could, her movememnts would be ashonishingly beautiful.

You already know my choice though. Kokoro for the moves and the clothes (Aoi's all look the same). Though when it comes to beauty, Kokoro and Aoi tie, because they are hard to compare. Kokoro is young, so she looks like it. Aoi is almost...handsome. Idk. They're pretty in their own right, I suppose. =)
