Fela Kuti, we miss and value your teachings so much at this troubling times in our Nation, Nigeria. I am sure you are proud of us as we are suddenly awakened and follow your legacy to fight corruption and pursue a free, fair and just Nigeria that will be equal to all. We will work with selfless leaders who have the real interest of our nation at heart and we will shame all thieves and murderers in government. Fela, we are also proud of your sons Uncle Femi and Seun. Thank you to the KUTI Family.
Thanks for posting this, the quality is great and this only help make me feel like crying. Long live Fela, the Great Prophet!! You will never die Baba!!
INDEPENDENCE NOW, time is coming, time is coming.
@truth594 do I have permission to copyright that line and sell t-shirts? I cant stop listening to this crazy Nigerian genius! He is from another planet- AMAZING!
@truth594 I am a classically trained musician majoring in music (granted I'm not of african descent) and I seriously think music history focuses too much on western music and agree with your very vivid statement of screwing what is "classical" and enjoying music in a more jubilant form, as Fela so freely puts all of his wonderful pieces of music, it always makes me enjoy every last bit of his music. =)
"..., ANIMAL can't teach me HUMAN RIGHTS...", lyly!!.

@truth594 NONSENSE ! They didn't write the same music at the same time, the same genre and at the same place... No comparison possible ;-)
