its all about tweaking the game, to fit your hardware..for example that sunshafts takes only 2fps when enabled,and they also work on DX9..and as you could see, its not that high res.1024x768 so if you have 8800GT as you said it should be no problem for that card..just google for crysis tweaks. its very tweakable game..and believe me with proper tweaks it can kill a gaming rig with 9800 GX2 SLi
My rig struggles with Very High DX10 Crysis in built up situations although when I turn down some settings such as Shadows and Game Effects and I get atleast 10fps more on average. Its good what you can do with a little bit of tweaking.

Nope, cheats which can be edited into the difficulty files.
If you add a line to one of the files such as 'Easy.dll' or whatever, it can enable cheats such as godmode

Why does my 8800GT not have 8xQ and how do you get that FPS?
I have AMD 64x2 5000+ 2.6 GHz and i get about 15-30 FPS on all on high and 1024x768 and only 4xAA. Is there any tweaks?.
My 8800GT is made by ASUS and it is 512mb. I am running Windows XP. I dont even get 8xAAQ Option. Please reply

Alright mate.
For some reason, my 8800GT would also not let me select 8xQAA. This is fixed by downloading 'Natural Mod'.
8xQAA will act the same as 4xAA but with less FPS loss. Neither does 'Natural Mod'.
