i wouldn't try this for Axel's Chakram, I would make my own keyblade. Not worshipping the keyblade users and not saying Axel is bad in any way. But I have been obsessed with swords, types of swords and KH just further increased my obsession ^^. But this is still awesome Alchemified and I'll definitely send show you my progress when I get the materials and start making it.

Im using your method on making spikes for a cardboard Kunai, but im having some trouble. When I try to make the smaller bended part, I cannot fit them together without spaces. could you maby tell me how to make it so there is no gap?

i followed your advice, but instead of foam i used wood, it take slonger to shape it and can be a pain sometimes but at the end it's much stronger then the foam, aswel is using 1 piece of wood like you adviced with the foam it take slots longer with wood, but the results are better if doe properly and payed attention, time is something you need too, but tnx for this vid, because of the vid i made the chakrams.

squeeeeee I'm so happy! My chakrams are almost DONE!!! I just gotta paper mache (which I'm doing tonight) then I gotta buy a big bottle of glue and some paint to finish it off! I'll post a response once I'm done. I managed to cut them in half, and I made the spikes outta the same stuff I made my chakrams though, but that's pretty much all I changed in the tutorial. I'm prolly gonna paint it so it's shiny, and paint the spikes and stuff silver though. thx u for teh tutorial, urs is the best!

I've been wanting to do a cosplay so bad. First I wanted to do Kankuro, and make a actual Puppet of Crow/Karasu out of PVC pipe, and I came Inches away from finishing, But the torso got lost, and all I had were the legs and arm segments Then I wanted to to Marluxia, and make his scythe out of some strong durable wood, I had the same foam for the blade, but while I was cutting it, with a Jigsaw, the foam cracked in half, and I left the jigsaw on when I put it down, and it ran over my designs.

when u paper mache them and u have them dry since both side are papermached when u wanna dry it how does it work, because I don't think them being completely covered in wet paper mache flat on the ground is the best idea. sooooo hehe how would they stand...be placed or whatever when the paper mache is drying. I'm planning on making axels chakarams as soon as I'm done sewing on the annoying little chains to the coat ^_^

You're welcome :) I think you could make a key blade out of similar materials. The coat of paper mache adds a lot of strength to the foam, however my chakrams are weakest where the spikes connect to the rings, so watch out for things like that. Just remember that they'll still be way weaker than anything made out of wood.
