this was the first Neo Geo MVS game (for arcades, hence the reason it's the only one in the entire Neo Geo arcade library that doesn't start with the infamous Neo Geo logo). also a launch game on the home console. pretty good first impression i must say. excellent excellent game :)

It is a good game. But there are many more that were great for the Neo Geo. I have a Neo Geo AES. Though it is more expansive then the CD version. Not all the game were released for the CD though and they quit making game for it after 1998 so any game after that I could not get, plus there is a MVS adopter for the AES so I can play the arcade carts on my AES. That way I will basically be able to get the full library. You will not regret getting a Neo Geo. It is my favorite console in my group.

this is actually the first Neo-Geo game which was released in April of 1990. and if you see the game's intro in it's entirety, you'll notice that this game borrows a lot from many war films (especially Full Metal Jacket)

most older games are much better than the new ones, i owned a Neo Geo console WITH this game cartridge, and i had a hell of alot more fun playing this game and other games like it, rather than playing some overrated shit you see now and days. AND i would have to agree it is the best Vietnam game ever to come out.

oh yea, your are 100 percent right, it would not be hard to pull of, although the only way it can be done properly is with a good producer. If the makers of the game is bad, obviously the game is going to be... bad.
