No, you definitely assumed wrong. Because she's so important to me, I try to include her in things I like doing. I love making beer, but it doesn't hold a candle to family.
Thanks! The strap is called "The Brew Hauler." I got it online. I've used a secondary on my last two brews. It definately helps clear up the beer and keep excessive yeast out of the bottles.
Nice carboy handle/strap. Where'd you get it? I've never seen anything like it. I have the screw/on handle for the top but it's so impractical I never use it. How long have you used secondary fermentation? I would love to get any tips. My brother and I have brewed for almost a year and never used a secondary fermenter, although we are going to on this one (ESB, made 3 days ago). I have an extra carboy just for it. All our past beer has been great but slightly yeasty...
