@FourShortOfAMiracle Because it's simple and actually a really good piece of music. The vocals are all in one tone and the instrumentals consist of loops. It's also a really good representation of early 80s stuff. (I know this isn't early 80s, but that's the style it's in)

For the vocal line try using a sax, it doesn't have the right sound but when you're trying to re-write the vocal line, it's the perfect instrument to use; it re-creates every technique a vocalist uses. Hope that helped.

@MattPaddock1 use a osalator on the ESX24 tab on logic, and make it a saw tooth wave. its very bass like as well. also for the bass, use DEEP HARD BASS. on logic, its perfect :') my teacher has cheated and given us the notes for the piano roll on logic for some of the instruments. :')

@Timbo17h Yeah, Logic is by far my favourite DAW. We used to use Cubase LE4 until our school got macs a year ago. I haven't used a full version of Cubase, but I found LE4 and Essentials quite limiting. Is there any way to contest the song? Because as far as I've heard, no one really likes it :3
