Hi, how are you? LEDs can be placed a lot closer to the plant, don't be afraid. Plus that container is too big, you will drain all the nutrients when you water, in places where the plant has no roots yet. Use a smaller container and transplant to a bigger one when flowering starts. Best of luck!

and another question how much ph down do you use,, whats ur water at out of the tap and how much do you use to get it to 6.5? im always just trying to get it as close as i can by guessing., I use to PH with the dropper kit but honestly i hate it.I wanna get a digital ph meter.. I call general hydro sometimes and ask questions . this chick said it should be about 1 drop per 32 ounces of ph 7.3 water to get it down to 6.5  but that seemed like to little ph down to me.. what are you're thoughts

hey how did that led pannel work out for you, i recodnize that little tree logo on the side but i dont know a ton about leds. I know that its very important to get one that has an excellent reputation for being quality because a lot of bunk units that dont have the right color spectrum are being sold. also how heavy was you'rs.. Leds seem to be really heavy. i read the 120 watt units are like 13 pounds,, my 250 watt hps and hood weighs like 1 pound , anyways how did yours work for the ww

8-) You really like to get high with your little girl, and I just wanted to help a bit. Getting your plants high in return is really easy and really good for them. Just introduce some straight CO2 from a small container directly into the air above the plant once a week and you will see an amazing difference in her happiness. You can get a super small torch style distributor at most radio shack or hardware stores and some small CO2 cannisters there also. Just a little bit goes a long way 8-)

the problem with LED's .. which you would know if you did a quick google search of a review of the light you are using.

those red and blue leds have specific spectrum's unlike HID lighting or CFL's which cover a range of spectrums. your led panel is putting out most likely 630 nm and 430 nm. 2 spectrums. the sun is every spectrum. think about that.

Good luck with your WW it is a very easy and hardy strain tough as hell and pretty damn stoney too. I just got done cropping and drying some WW I will send you the link when I am done with the vid. update I think you'll dig it. Don't listen to most of the people posting as I have seen some misinformation I won't point no one out. Gooooood times! Glad to hear it's gotten started! That's really the hardest part. While I'd normally agree with the light moving thing, at this point I'm not sure it'll make much difference either way. If you bring it closer, then not all the LEDs are shining on leaf (waste), and if it's further away, you have more light from more sources. It's a tricky business really, but right up next to a light isn't necessarily the most light, you want to be able to absorb from as many points as well.

nice clean set up. Dont feed your plant till it gets bigger. Just give it water for awile.

And dont over-water thats a big mistake a lot of noobs make. water when the soil is dry only, stick ur finger in it 2 inches to check. have fun

ya make sure that cause u did put clone into new rockwell that plant is going to dry out fast... so make sure u keep a close eye on it just in the beginning.. i know ur in good hand with sub on ur side, but ive exp how dry that rockwell can become...

so far so good. Just be patient with this little one, it might be a while before she takes off. Over the next few days just give her fresh water when the rockwool dries out. When the plant shows growth you can resume feeding. In any case good job!
