I got a cheap knockoff of a sony xplod that I bought from a convenience store, it sais it can handle 1200 watt peak power , about 300 watt rms, but I had it overpowered by my home audio system to 600 rms and it would not go out. the voice coils did not get hot at all. I only paid $40 for it and have a few videos I just uploaded to youtube. check them out and tell me wat you think.
