  • Rhino does not stand behind their product, DO NOT USE...LOOk at my videos for proof.

  • Should have gone with Line-X. Loved how it peeled right off going down the road.

  • @chetsger Linex would have done the same thing! It's not a product made to adhere panels to vehicles, it's made to protect things that are already secured! They should have bolted the panel to the vehicle first!

  • The Dvabel I thought that the dominator is supposed to become toyota based this year.

  • Only a Tahoe Could take this much abuse

  • the back of this looks like an old gremlin car :)

but ill bett it will stick to the ground when you lower itt :)

  • lol wut?

Maybe the aspect ratio of the video is being compressed, which is making it look tiny when it really isn't

  • Looks like an Marscar, the sort of vehicle Aliens use to invade planets. =P

I wonder how heavy it is.

  • Hope this is Just a proto type.if not add more rino till it looks better

  • looks like a funny scene i remmeber from "the goodies".. it needs a big dogsuit over the frameand you should put some big fluffy ears on it

  • looks tiny....and HILARIOUS!!!!

  • Are you sure its the right size.

  • It's the red shoe, as Sean calls it :P

  • i hate to say it it looks so small like a compact dominator i think they screwed up putting that window in the back cause it gets hit hard enough it will shatter like reeds drivers side window did and they will be sucked up in the tornado and who know where they will land im ready for this chase season i got a good plane ready for my aerial video of super cell inner workings all my cameras are ready to go and so am i

  • @wbuttry The only reason the drivers side window exploded is because there was something (small piece of debris) that kept them from manually raising the bullet proof window that is on there. That was done manually in the past. Now they have an electric motor to raise that too. So, they have 2 power windows per door...an inner one and an outer one.

  • I hope TV has a good season this year. Its nearly upon us and i cant wait to see some good storms. Just hope you guys dont get massively cramped in that thing. not a lot of room for multiple cameras for your show and all your equipment.

If i ever get into chasing tornados maybe the gov will allow me to use one of the retired ammo trucks from the military *AHAHAH..oh sorry*

  • make sure you have a satin pillow for that thing.......

  • shouldn't this vehicle be as low and flat as possible? You know, wind resistance? That chubby thing will pick up all the wind that goes aroung and probably get blown away or knocked over even if it weights 5 tons

  • @KrokodilaGena Think this one is just like the old one. They can drop it down to the ground. But i find the doors a bitt off. They look like they stick out, wind may get a hold of them maybe? If you have seen StormChasers season 3, the car worked just fine. But i liked the other armored car better, the one the IMAX dude had. :-)

  • @LaShagma75

"the one the IMAX dude had."

You mean the TIV? I'm with you on that.

TIV gets points for originality (the Dominator is just a copy).

  • @La Shagma75

It did work out well, but it was very slow and it was not functioning quite often. I was hoping for something new with more money invested in it, that thing will have the same problems as the old version did. Or thats what I think at least. Anyway I will still be hoping for the best and I wish those guys even more great new footage! :)

  • @KrokodilaGena You know when the Tornado season starts in the USA? Not the show, but the real thing! You know? I realy like to go there this year, just have a little look!

  • @LaShagma75 Im' pretty sure it's from May - October or something like that.

  • It lives! *menicle sounding* MUAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

  • Hope there's room in the back for the camera guys!

  • dominatin!!!!

  • a car work better then SUV i think and Dominator needs skirts around it

  • I dont like it at all.. It looks like a bubble on top of dish water.

  • looks like an armored minivan now, ahh but whatever works to get the job done. Hope you guys catch some good storms this year!

  • the new dominator looks great reed! It seems like it just needs a new paint job! haha

  • At least Sean cant say it a "Big red shoe" in the next season, lol

  • I still think it look like a shoe. I am concerned about the back end with with the arch. There's still a hole that wind can get under unless they put some kind of skirting around it. I think this version has to grow on me.

  • 5 bucks says you knock that garage trying to fit it back in :D

  • heres a good idea for stopping hail cover the body in a sheet of carbon nano tube

  • that is going to flip over for sure next season... look at the giant hole on the bottom in the back end at 4:12

  • @2:12 they are addressing thay giant hole by attaching retractable skirts. I still think that they are going to penetrate a tornado that they will regret, but the data they keep getting is AWESOME for the science ! just don't die !

  • I don't see the logic in this contraption.

  • it was origionally created to shield them from damaging winds and hail so they could depoly information probes quicker, but of course reed being a insane as he is gets himself inside tornadoes, so he mounted a military grade radar so he can take high res reading from close or inside a tornado without this vehicle hed probably be dead.

  • I really hope this is safer! Somehow I just can't see how it will be. It looks far more un-stable since it's been shortened. I'm sure you know what you're doing.

Can't wait to see you on storm chasers this season.

  • i like how the dominator barely fits thru the doorway lol, great job! i hope that this new build keeps you more safe!!

  • I love you guys, but it kinda looks like a tumblebug. Good luck this season.. hope to see you out there! I think it's going to be a good season, as weird as the weather's been all winter

  • Reed, you need to improve the motor over stock. If you need to catch up to a storm, a better motor is going to be needed. Maybe just do some bolt on's like intake, headers, exaust, tune. Or maybe add a blower to the engine to get the power

  • could have done a better job with old dominator looks like an egg!! need weight to keep it blowing away I would be afraid to be in that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in bad weather poor job sorry!!!! good luck!!!!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sorry bbut it looks sorta stupid, and lost extra room for stuff now can barly if at all get the pod in back there.

  • finally automatic windows

  • looks like a box xD. Hope you a great season!

  • i STILL LIKE THE OLD DOMINATOR BETTER. AND FOR SOME REASON THE OLDER ONE LOOKS ALOT MORE SAFER.

  • rino cover? NO, LINE-X, YES

  • ugly car.

  • Dominator is GOOD!!!

  • It looks awful, like a HS shop class project. It's too small and it lokks like a stiff wind would blow it away. Who did the welds? Reed, you were better off with the original Dominator.

  • @jules1725 to bad the window got blown out in his face :P

  • @scarweb Would you like it to look good ? or perform good ?

There going into tornados, so would you rather go in a boxy shaped tahoe like they had, or a more rounder roof, to deflect winds ? Hmmm.

  • Comment removed

  • it looks like a half WV bug half SUV ew dont like the new look

  • It's no TIV

  • nice looking. can't wait for the new season
