A beautiful song. Remarkable guitars. When they did this tune in NYC's Central Park, gorgeous summer day and all, I actually saw GOD. You had no other choice. Thankfully, I taped the show.
Jim did more for Sonic Youth than I think most realize, compare songs like this and dripping dream to anything they did before[...] I think Jim helped a lot with that. I know it's blasphemy but, whatever. Jim's chords are the shit here, ties it together in a knot.
This is my favorite song from my favorite band, hard decision but I think its the right one. I listen to this song nearly every day. It's hypnotic, beautiful and life-affirming.
They opened their set with this during the murray street tour and it was sublime.
Murray Street is one of the best albums of Sonic Youth, particularly for me is "the best, "a disc of a sensitivity absurd and Rain on Tin is" the music "... great .. great sound.
steve is the ringo of our time. no one will give him respect even though he is the perfect drummer for the band he's in.

Jim's guitar is a little too high in the mix. I love him though and he adds great ideas that otherwise might not have been played.

@tempusfugit1986 - I am not hear to bring anyone down his contribution is totally irrelevant IF Thurston Moore did not conceive the song!
