Vader looks a lot like a Japanese Shogun. Lucas was a big fan of Kurosawa's films, so I would suspect that had an influence on the design.

Too bad you can't help rebuild Dave Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader (Google Dave and go to his website). I just had dinner with him last Saturday. A series of operations have left him in pain. It would be great if any fans of Darth out there will send some prayers in Dave's direction. He could really use the force now.

I am sorry, but Darth Vader is AWESOMe as he is. Grievous looks like a piece of crap and is no more menacing than Jar Jar Binks. Leave Vader as he is - the greatest apprentice you had.

Ah, buyt Grievous died from a blaster bolt, something Vader absorbs with his hand. AND, Lord Vader has the Force at his command. Grievous is little more than a glorified droid.

Also, Long Live the ORIGINAL Star Wars Movies. Death to the crappy Prequels! :)

Vader didn't have the force because of his suit, though, so you can't really compare the two like that. Grievous' suit wasn't as advanced as Vader's, supposedly, but even if that's true, grievous certainly looked more badass.

i think the guy meant that he wanted vader to be redesigned so that he could fight better. like general grievous could spin his lightsabers around and jump into the air and stuff.

i personally think that vader looks way more awesome than griveous, but i think he DOES look like a noob when he lost to luke in episode 6

How long do these videos take to make?

A lot of the time is the compressing and exporting, that stuff. Editing takes some time, too (though it's not the most complicated show to make). This particular episode took a couple hours, end to end.
