Must say few son in laws would carry their mother in law bag, hold the door for her, the gates etc, kudos to this guy for being a nice dude and talking funny \o/
What would you have done differently if you were the plantiff? Do people think before they act? If I was the plantiff, I would have looked at the place at least five times before moving in. Moving like marriage or starting a new position is one of the most important decisions in a human being's life.
I think its funny that she told that guy he didnt own the house who is married to the woman that owns it. Seems like they thought they could do what they wanted because he married her. She showed him!
It seems like everybody is very satisfied with the veredict. But i am not. I think the defendant was trying to explain his side of the story, and the judge gets too emotional and didnt let the defendant and his witness explain nothing. The guy was trying to say he has permission to rent the place. First court rule: always allow both litigants to explain calmly and orderly each version. Second court rule: the judge will never jump into hasty emotional conclusions before hearing both accounts.
@otirudam Its more like she isn't into wasting time. She obviously made a good call. The defendant owned nothing, the guy he brought owned nothing. Case closed. If every judge listened to everyone's bull, the courts would be much more swamped than they are now.
@LonerlovezL ok i respect ur opinion but i dont agree. Justice should never be done in a hurry, and shouldnt be sacrificed so tv ratings go up so the judge closes down as many cases possible so she can get a thick paycheck. Actually for us tv or internet viewers, court shows are fun and entertaining, but for most of the litigants it is a very serious and delicate matter bcos it is an event that can mark them and their reputation, for the rest of their lives in front of millions of witnesses.
@otirudam They're the ones who agreed to be on tv. So, as for them getting a marked reputation and the rest of their lives being in front of millions of witnesses, that is on them. And you're right: justice should never be done in a hurry. However, it should be done in a timely manner. Due process. Aside from all this, thanks for disagreeing without being disagreeable. : ]
@LonerlovezL In regards to what u say, plaintiffs are the only ones that want to be in tv court shows. Generally, defendants are not there of their own free will, they are forced to appear there by law as far as i know. The litigants i am sure , probably suffer a lot of double stress: trying not to be on the loosing side, and coping with being in front of millions of viewers. For some of them i am sure it is a traumatic or quite intense experience. You have a nice day.lol.
Defendant didn't expect JM to actually ASK who owned the house did he? And just for insurance (in case...) he brought the REAL owner to court...who actually wasn't the owner either!! And then he said "but I own the house over the road!"
hahahaha I can't stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!! the stupidity of it all is mindboggling. haha
i love this lady, she just wanted what she was owed and wasn't like a lot of folks asking for way more... so glad she got hers back... gotta love justice sometimes
Some people have absolutely no shame no conscience and no decency or morals. AND they lie in court! Defendants should be locked up for being liars cheats and scammers, how dare they.
Can I rent a house out to someone if I live across the street from it? I think I might go to my neighbors and just tell them that I am now the owner of their house, and they need to pay the mortgage payment to me - IN CASH!
@tsh512 I was thinking the same thing. Who needs to works when after all you can just rent houses that don't belong to you. I've been wasting my life, when I could just relax and get money from renting someone else's property.
How the fuck do you sleep at night robbing old ladies?..I hope both the D's get colon cancer.

All the defendant had to do was produce a signed agreement that he was authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
