well, I know that the 700 and the Hikari Railstar goes up to 285 km/h as the ATC indicated highest speeds in Sanyo shinkansen line

not like the 500 and the N700 that can go up to 300 km/h and those noise abatements keeps the 500 from being the best and fastest shinkansen in Japan.

You are supposed to go through the station (Shin-Iwakuni) @ 285km/h :-P since i'ts a 700 Nozomi service.

If you want to stop at all stations, then choice a Train running Kodama services
