I have Amplitube 3 and it is one awesome sounding application. Even made my cheaper guitars sound excellent.

I noticed that the newest version of amplitube 3 has less noise and hiss, rounder sounds (especially from the fender cabinets, they didn't sound as pleasing) and more headroom

I see. Since JCA100 based on SLO100, I think basically it's about the same. And many still like SLO100 more than JCA100.

Anyway, great great job from IK Multimedia. Lovely Engl Powerball sound.

@pvdossel We stand by our model as the most accurate BY FAR, which is the usual result since we actually model from the real hardware and have a very complex process that we've been perfecting for years.

why would you need JCA100 when you have SLO100? just wondering.

@ransisua Because we model everything accurately so they will give results and sounds like they do in real life. This gives you many options for whatever tone you seek.
