  • I like this a lot more now that I'm dating a guy who went to Ball State.

  • I'm originally from Kennard, over near New Castle but I went to college at Ball State and my brother still lives in Muncie and actually snuck onto Jim Davis's property to try to get an interview to work for him and got caught. Jim was nice about it though and spoke to him briefly before letting him leave without going to jail. I love this! I live in Oklahoma City right now but I'm still a Hoosier at heart.

  • I come back and watch this at least twice a year.

  • Nice

  • You guys still in Muncie? We should collab.

  • i don't like rap but this was very great, great job guys..! by the way jim davis was our sponcer for off road R/C car racing, we our team of 20 drivers had the big yellow cat on the bottom of our cars, so the other racers would know who we were, it was very effective in ohio at the state race there, we wouldent have though of racing with out garfield the big yellow cat, jim is gone now rest in peace jim god be with you..! i might add garfield was the most publisized cartoon in all of the wrold,

  • hey i actually live right down the road from the red barn with the silo's! lol

  • I love these videos and have been following them. I think the lake scene was taken at the recreational area east of Muncie, right? I am a former Ball State student, and believe it, Muncie was a big city from where I originated! lol;). You guys are all talented and this is original material, so, yes, there is more to Muncie, Indiana than BSU!

  • I've been watching this periodically for like a year now, and it's still hysterical. Classic!

  • hahah proud graduate of BSU but hilarious!

  • fort wayne, BIOTCH

  • Fuck muncie, why do i still live heree

  • 5 secs and already boringggggg now wonder why they think we just a bunch of hilbilys and dat we sooooooo country which we AINT

  • @sassydesiree2009 HAHAHA

  • @sassydesiree2009 It's the same with Missouri... I live in Columbia, which isn't rural (country) like a lot of Missouri. But because Columbia is in Missouri, people think we're hick and farm and all that shit. This one girl from NYC showed up on the first day of school wearing overalls and a straw hat because that's how she thought we dressed! It's so fuckin annoying!!!

  • I'm a freshman at Ball State, and I think this is just ROFLOL.

  • U 4got Steven Cunt lol

  • What were some of the samples that you guys used for this video. Great Job

  • He's actually a Mormon Super Hero. I've seen him save children. He saved me.

  • OK, so I'm from Muncie and live in Utah now. One of those guys is like a Mormon celebrity out here! Weird.

  • dude i know man i'm from Orem and this dude is totally a mormon guy ahahah

  • this has to be the funniest video ever. i love in eaton, right outsid eof muncie and do most of my shopping there. everything really is on mcgalliard. :D

  • Love it every time I see it !

  • funny stuff

I did some time a BSU - have good memories of Muncie (well, some of them were good anyway:-)

  • im from muncie and it makes us look whack... yeah there isnt alot of stuff to do but... dang come on

  • @YouTheRobot There's a drag strip. I've been to it.

  • @YouTheRobot hahaha I'm from muncie (yorktown to be exact) too, and yeah it's a little out there, but still some what accurate lol

  • lol

  • what the hell is this shit?

  • Trust me, Battlegay, if I knew I'd tell ya. I just don't have a clue.

  • Great video! Makes me glad I live in San Antonio!

  • Muncie actually offers a lot more than this shows. I mean, it's a joke. I live in Muncie, & it's the just fine. Don't have fake sympathy for us.

  • @elikatydid OH HERE, YOU DROPPED YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR

  • @TheProphetCCC I wasn't mad about the video, actually. I was mad about people dissing Muncie. Muncie rocks! You have no idea what yr talking about.

  • LOL...

I grew up in Farmland (Muncie was the big town, how sad!) and I know everything really is on mcgalliard!

  • please don't - too many people with your attitude would ruin a good thing

  • @SimpleManProdcutions most of the midwest isnt even country, and Missouri has a lot of stuff in Columbia, Jefferson City, and St Louis

  • Great! Truly great fun, watching your videos!

All the crazy ideas you seem to have all the time...

  • move your ass to ft.wayne---->lol

  • muncie rules other cities suck ball sweat

  • Loved it! I was born and raised just off Tillotson a half mile or so north of McGalliard. When I was a kid, McGalliard didn't even exist out that far. Bethel was the road out to I-69.

About Letterman - true, he wasn't born in Muncie, but he went to school at Testicle Tech back in the late sixties. Art major, I think.

  • The portion of the video where Kirby is breaking it down is about people that are from Indiana in general, not just Muncie. Letterman is from India-no-place, Indiana.

  • what does move your ass fort wayne mean I live there

  • Well, metaphorically, it means that if you don't care for the general feel of life in the small hamlet of Muncie, Indiana, you can relocate your ass & the rest of your body to the city of Fort Wayne, which these two gents in the video deem to be less dope. Like a Compton/Long Beach type of rivalry, but with humorous subtext. In essence it is creating a comedic parallel of sorts between two midwest towns that don't really have that type of marked urban rivalry that Compton & the LBC have.

  • Well put. LOL.

  • you guys are amazing. ^^

    ~Jenny Mac

  • are you the guy who made this video, go muncie indiana

  • How'd you get Kirby Heybourne in this video? I never knew of him before this but googled him and found out he's not even from Indiana. Nuts! Either way he is hilarious and I'll look out for more from him in the future.

  • I actually abducted Kirby from his home after seeing him on the series "Free Ride" on Fox. I flew out to LA on a redeye and gagged him with chloroform. I promised him I'd bring him back if he only did this one favor for me. He was really in no position to argue, so he agreed. This was all after he woke up from the chloroform, of course, in a taxi on the way to LAX for the first flt back to Indy. It was a rough start at first, but then he slowly got into the concept. And presto, Lazy Muncie!

  • hell yeah dude, from ft. wayne...that was bamf

  • Loved your rap video! As Borat would say "VERY NICE!" Oh Miami U? Yea! Great school too! I have been to Miami U in Oxford (north of Cincinnati). My sister got her Masters Degree (MBA) there. She also married there in the quaint little church on campus.

One of my fondest memories of Muncie was staying at the Kitselman (sp?) Center where I served as an orientation tour guide during foreign language weekend. Some of the frat houses in Muncie on University Ave were beautifully built too.

  • Why did One Accord close there? Did it move? Your father did an excellent job then! What else did he design? Must've been an archy major at Ball State? Well, I remember the sopapillas they made at One Accord (you could put honey in these hot-steaming rolls).:-):-) Yep! Good ole' McGalliard (one of my favorite streets too!) ok, my other guess for the street name would've been Tillotson, lol;) Hey Not bad for not being in Muncie for 22 years.

  • LOVED the sopapillas. I was just a kid, but I got addicted quickly to the honey filled delights. My guess is One Accord closed as most places do, from lack of patronage. My dad designed many wonderful houses in the Muncie area along with some churches and civic structures. He even designed the house we lived in. Didn't go to Ball State though, he went to Miami U. in Oxford, Ohio. His office in Muncie was right off Tillotson at one point, near the breakfast place called Richards.

  • We called it lil'Chicago and this video was great...thanks...i miss pizza king...i miss all the hoosiers...you don't know what ya got till its gone..is r-i-g-h-t!

  • Very innovative! I went to Ball State in the 80's. Is "One Accord" Mexican restaurant still in Muncie? That was the place to go Friday nights along with KIng's Corner Bar back in the 80's.

  • No, One Accord is no longer there, but my father designed that building! Small world. And guess what street it was on, people? McGalliard, McGalliard, McGalliard...

  • LOVE it! I'm a native Hoosier from Kokomo.

    Ball state rocks!

  • your sisters pond is fucking huge

  • That's "your sister's pond is fucking huge... sir." And yes, it is rather ginormous.

  • i love this video ive watched it like 10 times

  • .yttuP .ylliS

  • Chris Cox is the shit. Always delivers the funny.

  • LOL! I go to college in Upland (25 min from Muncie) and this is amazing. Indiana rules!!!

  • You know what is sad is that I know where every single place that you show is. LOL Pizza king is the shit! nobody gets that place unless you are from there!!!

  • Muncie is the best place to be! GO CARDINALS! Pizza King rocks!

  • I miss Muncie so much. This video is hilarious. You gotta watch the other two first, though.

  • not good

  • heath dead

  • huh? that has nothing to this vid

  • a bit too slow paced for a rap video, especially with all the music pauses there are throughout, but not too bad.

  • u stupid whore its called a spoof. ho

  • represent indiana w00t w00t!!

  • this was the video where I first heard of youtube.

  • Everything really is on McGalliard. The only time I ever really get off McGalliard is to go to the Puerto Vallarta on Tillotson (which I'm having major cravings for and can't have until I come back from school) or the southside Wal-Mart. The shot of the mall makes me happy (and I'll probably be there within the next two weeks!!!)

  • i agree puerto owns and the chese is awesome

  • haha they should have shown Letterman Alley, the plethera of liquor stores, the VPs, Chinese Buffets and PIZZA KING.

  • Yeah...Pizza King is kind of huge in the area. I've had three cousins work there.

  • Excellent!

  • I am from Western Ohio, and this is so amazingly true. Represent the Midwest!

  • Champaign, Illinois!!! REPRESENT BITCHEZ!!

  • BSU MUNCIE, IN BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!

  • Too bad that they tore down that Bob Evans.

  • Hey! I'm in Muncie RIGHT NOW!

    Neat! :P

  • I want to dance with Dora!

  • lol loved the Garfield part

  • can't get enough of it. this is wayy better than the others especially lazy monday. that guy is even on on the lot, chris you should've auditioned for that.

  • I loooove Kirby Heyborne!!

  • Cool vid! who iz da guy wid u chris?

  • OMG open up a altas of the states and see where Indiana is..........Its in the Midwest!!!!!!

  • Indiana isnt in the mid-west dumb ass its mid-East

  • The term "Midwest" is a term that originated back in the day and I mean way back in the day when anything west of the Appalachian Mountains was considered "The West". The states considered to be in the "Midwest" are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Now stop abusing your penis and open a book.

  • Iowa is NOT in the Midwest. They claim to be but, sorry, they aren't.

  • Actually Iowa is geographically closer to the center of the midwest than Indiana.

  • So Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are all in the midwest but Iowa isn't?

How much does everyone want to bet this person is confusing Iowa with Idaho? Pretty different places!

  • Yes, I'm confusing Iowa with Idaho. This person isn't an idiot. Who the hell thinks Nebraska is in the midwest? The midwest isn't every state in the middle, people.

  • I don't know where you get your information but you are incorrect. Try googling "midwest states." You will not find a single credible source that says Iowa is not midwest.

  • And Nebraska? Until YOU are correct, don't tell me I'm not.

  • Nebraska is usually, but not always listed as part of the midwest (although this is RARE). Iowa is ALWAYS part of the midwest. Your original statement was Iowa is not part of the midwest. That statement was incorrect. Period.

  • There is no "period". If there was you wouldn't still be arguing the point. I'm not going to waste any more time discussing what started as a half-way joke.

  • Actually, any state bordering Missouri except for Arkansas is consider Midwest, I should know because I live in Missouri. But you have a point, since Indiana does not border Missouri.

  • hahah not as good as lazy ramadi but its funny

  • lol this is hilarious

  • funny!!

  • omg i am from selma and muncie. lol i am postin this on my friends comments. thanks.

  • That was hilarious!!!!!!

  • Respresentin' the midwest! what what!

  • The best Lazy Sunday spin-off. That blonde guy is like a slightly less gay version of Andy Dick but with the same goofy-ass faces. Well done boys!

  • this is hillarious... i live in indiana!

  • hoosiers rule 5/5

  • what was it like meeting my idol jim davis?

  • Love the Tropicana part! And the Jim Davis part! 5 stars!

  • cool video, I had a good laugh from that. Even though it could be better its still good. I loved it. 4/5

  • This video was "Phatter" than former BSU head coach Rick Majerus!

  • The Garfield shot was the best!

  • Wow, Lazy Ramadi is still better than all this crap!

  • Uh-oh, you just brought on a world of hurt delfsys... Ramadi boyz, any words for our friend here?

  • yea, it was pretty good, but i think ramadi still smoked it. good job to both ramadi and butter! =D

  • These guys didn't make the lazy ramadi video.

  • no shit sherlock

  • dlefsys -- While I'm glad you like Lazy Ramadi you can't call Lazy Muncie "crap". Lazy Ramadi is what it is because Lazy Muncie set such a high standard. The quality of the lyrics, the video and the editing are what inspired us to make our video. And our goal was just to try and make a video that could be compared to "Lazy Muncie" or "Lazy Sunday".

  • I understand why the Muncie boyz would be pissed by your comment. You have 5 "Disturbed" videos posted that you didn't make. If you want to have the clout or street cred to bust up on someone else's video, you have to put up your own stuff. Let's see it, post a vid and we will see how you do.

  • Tehy kindof sound a lil like teh beastie boys :O!

  • that was a starbucks cup!! not coffee bean!! lol

  • Muncie doesn't have Coffee Bean; we just got Starbucks last week, Starbucks and running water.

  • Ahaha... That's hilarious.

  • Awesome! I went to Ball State in the late 70's. Good old McGallard. Is that Western Sizzlin still there? I remember the Two Bit Rush, Chug A Mug, Kings Corner, Siciliano's Deep Dish near the mall. Also remember being introduced to Domino's Pizza before they expanded out of that mid-east area. It's funny how you only remember the good times...not all those hours studying.

  • ah, the good ol' muncie mall

  • I am an escapee from California and live in Utah now and i loved it. Very funny.

  • AWESOME!

  • Beaubalicious... I know, I know I'm a Canadian... but I've spent plenty of time in the US... Great vid... Thanks for lifting my little white cloud!

  • dude, i lived in yorktown

  • fantastic! Brilliant!

  • Really well done, I'm not even from the US and I found that funny!

  • Awesome.

  • If you don't like it here, move your ass to fort wayne!

That and jim davis trying to do gang signs.

  • B to the S to the U, boyeee. :)

  • Hilarious.

  • oH so nice and clean..real deal all the way nice job...

  • Kirby and Chris--I still just think your video is one of the best!! It must be in my veins too, and my sister and bro-in-law who live in Mincie. A shame Armed and Famous didn't catch on isn't it? Your video muist be a better draw than Eric Estrada!

  • I almost stopped it in the beginning, but I'm glad I didn't. Once the rap started you had me. I was crakin up! Very funny!

  • Yes, I agree - slow to start but I was laughin' so hard by the end I was tearin' up!

  • The song's not great but regardless the video is really well done. A lot of funny moments.

  • Haha. very good.

  • Respect.

  • Booya kasha!

  • MIDWEST REPRESEEEENT

  • Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Thanks for sharing that. We needed the midwest to represent!

  • this is OH so funny! thanks for posting :-)

  • Hahah friggin' great!

  • It's better than the original SNL skit. About time the midwest gets some respect.

  • I'm from Indy, and the spoof rocked.

  • corn and grain ... you know it's insane!

  • OMG... this is soo freakin funny.... You've gotta be from the area to really appreciate this. Shout outs to Marion Indiana!!!

  • NWA love it!

  • Dude, so funny! i luved it

  • Great job guys! But the West Coast doesn't get snow... sux to be you!

  • snow is the best part thats why the midwest is so tight we actually have weather, hilarious spoof shouting out from cbus, IN

  • GO MIDWEST!

  • go watch Lazy Ramadi.. and your see the relation.. it has the same tune.. and the two soldiers in Lazy Ramdi... are from Muncie Indiana

  • Jim Davis wins the interwebs.

  • being from fort wayne i was laughing so hard when u said to "move your ass to fort wayne". muncie/fort wayne represent!!

  • Hilarious!

  • woah, somebody is taking themselves a bit too seriously...yeah, thas rite, I'm talking 'bout choo, moozoo82 (august8785, ur there 2...that is, if your comment was not filled with sarcasm (it's hard to tell without prosody, bitches!)).

  • McGalliard!

Heh. Indiana *is* the shit. We have 3 Elk Lodges -3!- suck on THAT x). Very funny. Great video quality, too.

  • (From New Albany, btw)

  • Jim Davis was classic.

  • Wow, so...nothing will make you more embarassed to be from the Midwest.

  • Why did the snl bit need a response? Did it ask a question? Why is it so popular to be completely derivative of pop culture? What is the point of saying you can do a second rate version of something that was already done? Way to go, America, way to go.

  • The only decent spoof so far.

  • totally agree... the jim davis bit was hilarious

  • Too funny.

  • This is great videomaking. Next time incorporate La Bamba with their creed, "Burritos as Big As Your HEAD!!"

  • We did have a shot of the La Bamba sign and that classic slogan, but alas, there is always something that has to get cut. Tire Barn got the nod instead.

  • haha mcgalliard.. haha oh my god
