I've no idea what the song means, but it's a lovely composition.

And I really like Kevin Ayer's voice.

The video has absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter, though the clearly Christian imagery would probably turn off most viewers as a pop single. Micheal does such a nice job crafting songs of praise and introspection in the guise of popular music.
