What modelling amp are you using- Vintage Tweed or something? Those DA amps do they have a Valve in those Like the VT's or not?

It's not left handed, his camera flipped it for some reason. These Strats only come right handed. If you really want one of these, you're gonna have to make like Hendrix and play it upside down ;)

Real musicans play the hell out of their guitars and they get worn... and scratched up... paint missing... chipped- paper Stickers are the first go they peel off in a coupla months lol Its how the guitar sounds that is important not how they look.. don't know about you but I get inspired by the sound of a guitar. Looks never last.

Nice playing - got to back you up on the Classic Vibe, I bought one earlier this year and it is a great Strat at any price. Swapped the original pickups and pots out for some Bareknuckle Irish Tours (the originals were fine, but wanted something hotter) - now it's a tone beast!

For the price of the guitar and pickups, I could have bought half a new American Standard! - and having played both, I preferred the the Squire.

Even though i own two "proper" Strats, the Squire is now my main Strat.

ive owned an MIM standard, highway 1, and american standard, and the 50s CV strat is actually my favorite.

They are wonderful guitars. I have both the 50 and 60s CV and can not believe how well they are made and how good they sound. I bought both of them for less than an American Standard Strat and I swear they are just as good. They both have a better neck and pickups than my '05 MIA Strat.

the amp's a vox da-5 modeling practice/travel amp. I found it to be extremely versatile (thanks to the built-in effects-session), pretty loud (enough to compete with a medium-agressive drummer ^^) and most importantly, it sounds really sweet!

i really love the neck it's perfect for me. i'd prefer it to any ibanez neck 'cause they're way too broad, though crazy thin, my hands aren't the biggest well so the strat neck suits me just fine... it feels like my les paul's neck, just a little skinnier, so it's perfect

I really dig this tone,If I can I might get one,but I might be able to get a good deal on a 60's one,or if I get the money,I might get a Highway One USA telecaster,so if I get enough money,Id def. get the tele,but I should be getting anywhere from $300-500 soon,plus the $150 Ive saved,and maybe the $400 off a guitar someone gave me,but you know how stuff goes.If I end up getting any of them,I'll post a vid as soon as I get my camera/mic working right.How do those play any way?

You serious?I played a Highway 1 tele over a G-Dec,and those just blew my mind,I'll have to play a CV.Have you played the HW1 Telecasters?Because I know the HW strats sucked,but the tele was probably the best playing/sounding guitar Ive ever played.If Squier can out do that,then Id seriously have to re-evaluate my thoughts,as far as guitars,but I know Squiers have went up alot in quality over the past few years.And by the way,just learned Another kind of green last nite,I'll post a demo soon.

Yes I've played the Tele's too, there's one at the local shop where I got my CVs. It doesn't impress me at all, but thats just me. TO me it plays marginally better than a MIM tele, and these guitars Kill MIMs in IMO

I know the MIMs suck,Ive played a squier that was great,a VM tele,with a humbucker in the neck,and laquered maple neck,it was as good in quality as the high end MIMs,if not better.Like I said,If I get enough money,Im getting the HW1,just because I like it so much,and its a MIA,but if things go as I would like them to,I might have enough to get a HW and CV,but mainly I want to get my car running before anything else.Oh and I liked your Hendrix cover.You should do a high gain CV demo too.

no,no the video's just reversed, no clue why. i wondered why it looked kinda strange and then i realized that in the video i seemed to bee playing left-handed... weird ^^left-handed guitar playing looks so impossible, plus i think that leftie guitars look somewhat ugly (no offence to any left-handed guy, just my opinion ;)

thanks! haha yeah 99 red ballons :) i had almost forgotten that nena had such international success, still sweet home alabama is way cooler ;) well the amp is my little vox da-5 practice amp. no fancy settings: volume, gain and tone about 12o'clock, but i'll probably post a little video of my vox the next days (and the next time when i'm in our band's practice room, i might take my fender pro reverb home to make a video, but i can't promise yet). On summer vacation you've got plenty of time ;)
