allot of games today don't have good stories or gameplay mainly because video game companies constraint on graphics but at least we seem to be leaving that age I mean me and my brother have around 70 video games (rightnow if we still had all of our old video games I say we'd have over 140) each have good story and in-fact their all in my top video games number my favorite game being FFVII, second FFIX, third Skyrim, fourth Assassin's creed series, fifth fallout three and new vegas, and so on
If you want to hear themes of the same kind, I compose of it regularly. I try to make musics which highlight the feelings and I have some of it which are estimated. You can already go to listen to it on my channel.
Screw any remake... They gotta make a new FF VII game. It has already been about 5 years since DoC. If they weren't too buzy creating a fuckzillion FF XIII games then perhaps they could continue the plot of FF VII.

Actually from my perspective FF7 comes second (among the first 7 FF's). My first chioce is FF6. No doubts that FF7 is phenonmenal, especially after the AC movie, and BC, DC games. But still, if there's a choice, I would rather SE remake a FF6 with its current CG skills.

As long as they keep all that is good about the original I'm all for it. Think of what could be introduced other than updated graphics. Such as Online Chocobo racing and trading. Though I'd like FF7 to keep it's original battle system I'm not sure if the damage and health should change to 99,999 or stay at 9999. Anyway I imagine if this did come true people will start demanding remakes of FF8 and FF9.

@Qain89 Actually Final Fantasy VII was being developed for the Super Nintendo, then when the N64 came out, that's what they focused on. The graphics in game are for a Nintendo 64, Squaresoft had a falling out with Nintendo and decided to go with Playstation. Then they added the cut scenes. This game would have been amazing either way, it was in development since Super Nintendo.

@MASTERLINKX1 I just don't trust remakes to wildly popular mediums like FF7 in general. The creators would most likely change a number of things and die hards will flip shit guaranteed. Honestly, all anyone really wants is the game as it originally was, only with VAs, updated music, and pretty graphics instead of the lego forms that look so strange to us now. And that's not going to happen. There are numerous other things Square Enix is doing, and that is going to be at the bottom of the list.
@DiagramOfTruth There is, but since when has SE seriously listened to anything fans outside of Japan ever want? Fanbases are fickle. A remake means by definition that SE is free to change anything about the game and that doesn't always mean it will be to the liking of the fans. It also doesn't look like SE is even interested in doing something like that anytime soon. Maybe, they will remake the game for a release in 2017 for the 20th anniversary, but I'm not holding my breath.
This theme plays at around 168 beats per minute, and is in 4/4 entirely except for the organ solos and bass line of those solos, which the time signature switches to 6/8. The tempo is about the speed of a faster heart rate and/or jogging pace which really adds to the excitement of the song!
A friend of mine gave me this game and it is here standing in my shelf right now.
But he only 'gave' it to me, which means that I do not own it. I tried to give him 20 bucks for the game but he said : 'no, i´m not taking money. You can play it but I will always own it and if I move away with my family I will take it with me although I will never play it. FF.' Sadly, the only character I got to level 2 on limit breaks was Cloud. I'm amazed you can get away with beating the game with so few kills per character. (I beat it in 17-18 hours.)
yeah you can rush it pretty easily it's mostly to do with just getting the AP to level your materia. don't really wanna head into some of those boss fights without cure3, but by that time most of your normal attacks will be hitting harder than summons. crits for 9999, quad strike etc.
only limits I never unlocked were barret's and aerith's level 3 cos I never used em. -.-

@Diz5452 Apparently a good remake would take 10 years and A LOT of money (according to Square). Apparently it isn't happening.
HOWEVER, The company seems to be remaking/porting the titles in order (FFIV was just recently re-released on PSP. They may get to VII eventually.

@MASTERLINKX1 I just don't trust remakes to wildly popular mediums like FF7 in general. The creators would most likely change a number of things and die hards will flip shit guaranteed. Honestly, all anyone really wants is the game as it originally was, only with VAs, updated music, and pretty graphics instead of the lego forms that look so strange to us now. And that's not going to happen. There are numerous other things Square Enix is doing, and that is going to be at the bottom of the list.

@DiagramOfTruth There is, but since when has SE seriously listened to anything fans outside of Japan ever want? Fanbases are fickle. A remake means by definition that SE is free to change anything about the game and that doesn't always mean it will be to the liking of the fans. It also doesn't look like SE is even interested in doing something like that anytime soon. Maybe, they will remake the game for a release in 2017 for the 20th anniversary, but I'm not holding my breath.

This theme plays at around 168 beats per minute, and is in 4/4 entirely except for the organ solos and bass line of those solos, which the time signature switches to 6/8. The tempo is about the speed of a faster heart rate and/or jogging pace which really adds to the excitement of the song!

Well, guys. I´ve got a little problem.
A friend of mine gave me this game and it is here standing in my shelf right now.
But he only 'gave' it to me, which means that I do not own it. I tried to give him 20 bucks for the game but he said : 'no, i´m not taking money. You can play it but I will always own it and if I move away with my family I will take it with me although I will never play it. FF.' And guess what, right, If I want to own FF7 I´ll have to BUY IT!!!

I totally want to be able to play both electronic organ solos on electric guitar with tons of distortion, that would sound great, heck, the whole song in a rock band, no change in tempo, notes, or rhythms, just a synth, bass, lead, and drums. That would be so awesome!

Sadly, the only character I got to level 2 on limit breaks was Cloud. I'm amazed you can get away with beating the game with so few kills per character. (I beat it in 17-18 hours.)

yeah you can rush it pretty easily it's mostly to do with just getting the AP to level your materia. don't really wanna head into some of those boss fights without cure3, but by that time most of your normal attacks will be hitting harder than summons. crits for 9999, quad strike etc.
only limits I never unlocked were barret's and aerith's level 3 cos I never used em. -.-
