Best Short Films is shot on the DVX100. While I'm not sure what resolution Bobby uses; I know for BFX we use 640x360 (I assume his is 640x480...but all that depends on the aspect ratio you're shooting in). And we upload .m4v file types...check out our encoding for youtube episode for more details...or send us a message.
