Perhaps you're right. I am still sceptical though, even if the EU collapses, what then? It would mean that the european peoples would regain their sovereignty, which would quell revolutionary ideas at the expense of nationalism(they partially get what they wanted). To this day, I haven't gotten a single explanation as to why that concept is positive, so I've tried guessing it.
What can be done? Require, make it COMPULSORY, in ALL public & private schools that ALL children be taught Western culture and civilization with NO exceptions, no skipping the class for i.e., alleged religious reasons. Anticipate the blow-back from this and prepare to DEAL with it. That's simply not right mate. While I agree capitalism is a driving force, in that cheap labor is always interesting for an employer, it's not the main issue. In Norway (where I am from) the non-western immigrants have appalling employment rates, somalis for instance stand at about 40% for menn, 20 for women, and by these percentages I don't mean just job employment, but those above 14 in schools as well!
My point is this: The immigrants from muslim and african states don't typically hold any skills Norway needs, I believe this holds true for the rest of Europe as well. The eastern europeans who build housing(spl?) are in effect building houses for the immigrants.

Perhaps you're right. I am still sceptical though, even if the EU collapses, what then? It would mean that the european peoples would regain their sovereignty, which would quell revolutionary ideas at the expense of nationalism(they partially get what they wanted). Then again, the economy could collapse even more, and probably would invoke anger. I only hope we don't see the rise of fascist and otherwise extreme ideologies like we did some 80 years ago.

I was never handed over to a babysitter! My family would not dream of it. Only family could raise family and care for family. With grandparents to rely on, a western family could also probably afford to raise one or two more kids, if the family budget were pooled.

Somebody asked, "what can be done?" I grew up in a multi-generational family: grandparents, parents, and me under one roof. I suggest step one is to restore a closer multi-generational family to the West, so there are always people to transmit Western culture to the kids. My grandparents were a marvelous live-in resource and an excellent example of self-reliance. Restoring multi-generational families will help to reverse the Marxist fragmentation of homes that halts culture transmission.

That's simply not right mate. While I agree capitalism is a driving force, in that cheap labor is always interesting for an employer, it's not the main issue. In Norway (where I am from) the non-western immigrants have appalling employment rates, somalis for instance stand at about 40% for menn, 20 for women, and by these percentages I don't mean just job employment, but those above 14 in schools as well!

My point is this: The immigrants from muslim and african states don't typically hold any skills Norway needs, I believe this holds true for the rest of Europe as well. The eastern europeans who build housing(spl?) are in effect building houses for the immigrants.
