Hey i just got these today and im noticing a buzz in the speakers when bass hits. Do u know how to get rid of it? it seems like that kills the purpose of having monitors.
@DJmAh03 *****correction, re-connect all the chords and play around with them a bit. then if that dosent help, adjust the treble, bass, and gain on the back of the speakers and the system your speakers are hooked up to
Loved the video. i have been doing my own recordings for about a 6 months now and am looking to step up from my standard pc speakers to these. would you say these are really worth the money, or should i hold off another 6 months or so to get something like some krk rp5's? i would like to get something very soon, so yeah, any advice would be appreciated.
@califreshest if you want some soon, you should get the NPM5's. I use them a lot now and have been for 3 months now and they still work great. all around great sound. good for a small set up. but if you want better looking speakers that appeal more, I would get the rp5's. I dont know how good the sound is on them but people say they are relatively the same in sound or better. but you choose man.
@DJmAh03 Im about to start djing but I have yet to buy my deck, I want to buy speakers first so my question is can these be plugged into my laptop and used as regular speakers in the meantime?
@InjuredMyselfYawning Yes but no, if you want to use these speakers for computer use you would have to get and RCA-1/8th jack(Same size as iPod headphones, that jack)
@DJmAh03 I would feel the same way man. I hate when my parents just walk right in........ What can you do! Lol.... parents will be parents right??.......
@FeeLtheHertZ Mixvibes Cross is a DJ/music etc. software that comes with the Numark iDJ3. and no turnrables. I dont have them. I use a controller. sorta the same, but different
Its just a way in the design, I ran mine through a series of test tones that flip from left to right and showed the powered speaker to be the left channel.
@xxlegitfailxx yes they would. you would just have to have RCA input/outputs on the system you are using or RCA male/female to another type or end male/female. etc
@TheRealMisterTwister if you turn the volume on the system that you have these speakers hooked up to, then turn the volume up to half on the speakers they get fairly loud. I do it every so often, then I can walk around my house and i can hear the song playing on them pretty much perfectly so ya they do.
How would these speakers compare to the M-audio AV30?
Alot of people say ''Take the M-audio!'' but i'm afraid that it won't have enough bass with the 3'' woofers and these Numarks are almost the same price but with 5'' woofers so which one would be better?
@NeinMannKeineIdee honestly I have no clue. I have never heard the audio quality with the M-Audio AV30's. If any one that knows which ones are better. then hopefully they will help ya out
@DJmAh03 One of my friends has the AV30's and he's kicking himself for not getting these Numarks. They got a broader frequency range, and just naturally sound good. Plus with the 20 watt amplifier built in, you'll be rockin!
@MyPablo24 ya it could fill a back yard pretty good. I have a huge back yard and I think if I set the speakers outside it could fill pretty close to the back. and the sound would carry. So a med. size yard. I think they could easily fill it.
@MyPablo24 Definitely not. These are low-end 20W monitors. You might be able to "fill" the yard (with not much more than 10 people) but don't expect any crisp and warm sound.
@plbenoit ah.... acually yes. I tested them outside today and put them as loud as they could safely be used and I went down to the end of my backyard and i could hear it almost perfectly. but not as well as up close so these are fairly decent speakers
daammm i needa cop me these bitches , are they any good?? and
