3 ways they could've made it better.

3. have it running newer software like android 1.x and by now it would be upgradeable to 2.0. If all those were on it then it would be the perfect phone.

Yep, so does the Sprint. I think the Verizon's version looks the best over all... I wasn't feeling the look of the copper-looking T-Mobile version, but the style starts to grow on you and it's a pretty sleek device, too. Too bad it's a little feature shy without the headphone jack and only a single phone radio.

Depends on your carrier. I don't know who carries the Behold, but regardless most carriers will put this into the PDA data plan similar to what phones like the Omnia, N97, and iPhone uses. They also added an additional cost for tethering, but there is a way around that with applications on Windows Mobile (and Symbian on a Nokia)

The Tulus (Canada) version of the phone is $250 with a 3 year contract. And is $625 I think with no contract. I would say it will be around $250 with 2 year here in the U.S.

In the UK it's much cheaper I wish I had a plan like what you have stated. Here in the States this phone will cost between $70-$90 (£50-£63) a month with a unlimited data plan, unlimited messaging, and the lowest talk plan around 400mins. Like I said the phone itself will cost around $250 (£175) on top of what we pay a month with a new 2 year contract agrement. Plus they charge for activation when you get the phone which is another $30-$40+tax.

On resistive touchscreens you have to press a bit harder, but they are much more accurate and you can use anything as a stylus on them.

On capacitive touchscreens you don't have to press at all. You just touch the screen. But you usualy can't use styluses on them. You can't use the screen with you'r nails, so they're not as acurate.

I have used both and found resistive T.S. better and easier to use. You just have to get used to them.

I live in England, and I couldn't find many places willing to offer the phone on contract.. I found the odd "business" contract with heeps of VAT and stuff, but nothing for the average user unless you wanted to pay god-knows how much for the unlocked device.. I don't think that would make it a iphone killer, but wait for the upcoming phones at the end of the year. Most of them will have 3.5 to 4.1 inch screen and will be capable of HD video recording and watching and HD video out. They will also run a revamped, more finger friendly windows mobile 6.5

I've seen videos of Opera vs. Safari, and Safari seems to scroll MUCH smoother. Although The Diamond/Touch Pro 2 both have a higher pixel display. And I don't believe it's competing with the IPhone, the HTCs are business phones and the iphone is a multimedia/music phone.
