stopped on the top : when its going to fall ?

suddenly fall : OMG MY BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE!

going up: oh, it's moving, moving!!!

on the top: omg, look at that the view is so breathtaking. (start to countdown n don't panic, don;t panic while holding to holder tightly)

suddenly fall: OMG!!!! where's my chair!!! AHHHHH!!!

this spaceshot is the scariest in genting for me. but i got addicted to it. once i enter the themepark, the first ride that i look for is spaceshot. in one day at the theme park, i play for 4 times.

I tried this ride once in January this year... Owh, I can't stand the moment of a few seconds before it dropped.

I heard that this ride was actually being shot up before the incident occured (a girl that her hair stuck between the machine and her scalp ripped).

That's why it is called Space Shot, based on it's original way of ride.

But, I think since they have changed the ride to be dropped from the top, it is better to be called Space Drop... :p

that was the old ride where this incident happened, this space shot is a new machine and it's not possible for your hair to get caught in this one, the backing of the ride is one giant piece of plate seperating the people from the ride's mechanism

there are rumors saying a girl got her whole head ripped off when playing this ride ;s ..it was said that her hair got caught on top of the structure and when the seats went down, her head was literally pulled off -_-...dunnoe if its real

Oh god... this ride is so scary. its not the speed that makes it scary, its the height, it feels like you are on top of the world (but really, you are only on top of a mountain with cold winds rushing about you, and you cannot see when it is a foggy day)

there was a girl who went on one of the free falls in new jersey i think it was and liek she got her feet cut off bcuz the wire snapped when they ride got to the top and like when they were goin down the wire rapped around her ankle and tore it off

On the accident part where the girl got her scalp ripped off and died, I think Genting did try to cover up the accident but in the end it still got leaked. I've checked the news archives but no newspaper seemed to have published the accident. I hate coverups. There was also a fatal accident on Corkscrew a couple of years back...

yeah...just came back from genting yesterday.. sat on the ride for about 8 times in 2 days.. and this is the best ride ever. well, compared to corkscrew..this is a lot more fun!!

no it's a true story. a friend of a friend was there and it has been talked about by everyone. everyone in malaysia knows about it... the girl's hair was caught in the pole and her head was ripped off... poor girl.
