This isn't about helping the disabled become independent through work. It's a disgusting assault on their rights and integrity, to save £ and weed out a minority of benefit cheats. There's no justification for stopping DLA; it's hard enough to claim as it is. Fair enough about reforming Incapacity Benefit though, but even still it's MPs questioning local GPs judgements. For years disabled have wanted to work, but aren't supported realistically by Jobcentres & workplaces IN or OUT of work

99% of them don't even have any qualification to examine people who are not well,thats why so many of their decision are wrong and are over turned by others one could say this!! if your car has a problem you take it to the butcher it's a sad day

The truth of the matter is that those who are seeing these people

who are not well and are on incapacity benefit, are not qualified to

do so. They are just people who are hired to read a list out to the person

who is not well. And all they do is just tick boxes. The rules we had were

good because you had to see qualified doctors and others to

claim incapacity benefit.

wow £65 i thought jobseekers was at least £80 way back in the poll tax riot days you see people crying out they only live on £45pw living on a roundabout and thats when a car was £900 new and could buy a 3 bed house for £10,000 yet look at the cost of living today and its only gone up £15 ffs when was the last time they reviewed the amount a grown man can live on as i wouldnt last 3 days on that, we are going to need castle walls around our propertys at this rate,crime will rocket ,what a mess

This is nothing new. I know someone whom is on incapacity benefit, And he had this same medical a couple of years ago by one of these Hired accountant type doctors. Of course your always going to get the scroungers, Just like you get a lazy bastard in your work place. But its Dispicable how every sick person is being treated as a cheat.. and used to balance the books. Is this the NWO. if it is, god help us all. After the war this was made to protect you. They drive housing costs up. Stop having a go a the disadvantaged and look at the real issue. Just for the record British people spend their earnings oir benefits in this country. The majority of immigrants/ E.U workers here do not. They save it up and take it back with them when they live. That is the real issue.

Balance? What a joke!

I've worked with CAB, helping people with sometimes severe physical or mental health issues prepare for tribunal when they've had benefits payments stopped after an PCA.

The previous government started this attack on the sick and infirm of our society, don't think this is a new scheme!

The millions a day in interest payments the governments have to pay isn't because we have sick people, it's because we have sick business being supported at OUR expense.
