I think its easy 4 him 2 take a wait n c approach bcause hes not in harms way,But I totaly understand being hesitant of the UN. I think the best case would b 4 the african union 2 just dissmantel the Gov. and the Rebs
yeah..cause the african union has the power to dismantle governments... yeah and its totally allowed in international law...and the rebels will jus listen to the AU eh? idiot...
More spin while they plan their war. Is the next front in the war on Terror in Africa? Imagine this, if we (US) go into Africa and actually get control of their oil then we will for sure rule the planet for the next 500 years!!!!!
I am against western involvement. I am against regional involvement by parties biased by their own self-interests. The solution should be resolved through negotiations. There is leadership within the continent and region working to resolve the conflict. Pressure from the continent and the region for peace talks can work. Sanctions and military intervention from the West will only exacerbate the problem and create a wider conflict. African solutions for African problems.
elwaji1, Really bad news, I second you this guy is brilliant and very diplomatic, most of all and despite the so and so English, he still knows how to talk in a diplomatic and convincing way, something Sudanese diplomats are failing in big time by being emotional and not convincing when addressing the United Nations or the press.
This is not abdalmahmood abdalhaleem his name Omer Bashir Mohammed his is a career diplomat he is not an appointee like those Ingaz's people sometimes they can not even say their names right. Please Schokoprinz if you do not know thing just keep your mouth shut up.
Oh! I am so sorry! If I offended you, be a gentleman/gentlewoman to take upon criticism. I am just trying to tell you the truth and as you know, truth always hurt. By the way, try to capitalize the names and the pronoun "I" anywhere in an English sentence.
His not replace he was acting as Sudanese Ambassador to the UN till the government appointed Abdalmahamood Abdalhaleem. Before then he is the second officer in Sudanese embassy in UN. Please, check the facts before you right anything.
