I am against western involvement. I am against regional involvement by parties biased by their own self-interests. The solution should be resolved through negotiations. There is leadership within the continent and region working to resolve the conflict. Pressure from the continent and the region for peace talks can work. Sanctions and military intervention from the West will only exacerbate the problem and create a wider conflict. African solutions for African problems.

elwaji1, Really bad news, I second you this guy is brilliant and very diplomatic, most of all and despite the so and so English, he still knows how to talk in a diplomatic and convincing way, something Sudanese diplomats are failing in big time by being emotional and not convincing when addressing the United Nations or the press.

His not replace he was acting as Sudanese Ambassador to the UN till the government appointed Abdalmahamood Abdalhaleem. Before then he is the second officer in Sudanese embassy in UN. Please, check the facts before you right anything.
