@maneatingtoilets I can see the knife is very good and Ray is a legend, but for such a price, the knife would have to be able to do all the cutting work alone without me operating it and then cook my dinner :)
@MrSeanjw1 best at blowing ass lol... dont get me wrong im sure he knows alot about survival but not bushcraft. ray mears on the other hand, he just seems a little more, professional.
His knives are so overpriced. Get a Bark River with superior carbon steel (A2 vs O1) and a superior convex edge over this scandi grind. Or buy a Fallkniven F1. They are good too but not as beautiful.
@GFoladi What makes it unnatural? Without nature we wouldn't be alive, or have come up with our inventions. Since humans are real living creatures, everything we do could be considered our natural habits/instincts.

Looks like a mora knife, but I am not sure. Those are some well made pegs though. Not like I am surprised or anything, since this guys job is playing in the dirt and making tent pegs.
that guy is a real expert not a paranoid zombie appocalypse preparing american fucker

If you want a much cheaper alternative to this knife, get a swedish Mora knife. It has the same grind, but it's thinner and the steel isn't as good.

it's funny that he said it's like tempering metal, because tempering for metal is used to soften it, not harden it.
