Just a little something I was inspired to write, awesome remake!

1. He woke up in a cold sweat, wipin drops off his forehead

a feelin of panic, just wheezin & pantin with no breath

each hand on own his whole chest, he started to feel calm

as the cripplin darkness that riddled & harmed him felt gone

he's happy that it's finished but he's feelin so diminished

cuz the demons deep within him, never let him sleep a minute

2. the only things that keeps him livin is his love for music

cuz he's just never been same since she dumped & used him

the pain is nothing new, it's just he thot he was past that

but some days it numbs his brain while he's stuck in a flashback

he stares deep in her eyes as she reaches deeper inside

her hands gently grip his skin & slowly peels to the side

all his secrets & lies, she digs beneath all the pride

for the person he kept hidden by which he's really defined

3. as he slowly lingers out, he see her fingers wander out

then she's gone without a doubt, while he's feelin hollowed out

then he finally snaps back to that perpetual laugh track

where the joke's always on him, & he's forced to just laugh back

always looking for the light tho there's more darkness to come

but he won't leave without fight, just cold hearted & young...
