just bought this phone after the keys started coming off my nokia E71. it alot faster on uploads and downloads, it is plastic not metal but a strong plastic and it comes with silicone skin. I had trouble at first with youtube videos not playing till I set it to tracfone internet connection then youtube video worked in my phone. I give it a A- just because it not metal.

I've just bought a Nokia E5 and was disgusted to find a USB cord that is too short to put the phone on top of the box, so I have to let it hang from the port. This is ridiculous! Can nokia please explain why they did such a retarded thing?

This phone sucks, it can't multi task and crashes often eventually leading to not powering up, mine lasted 6 weeks and I took it back to carphone warehouse who told me I'd dropped it (which I didn't)....... Google the power issue and you will see many people have had the same problem, load of poo just like the old ps3 and xbox360 I had to replace because they can't be build properly in the 1st place.

I think with sprint and verizon, you have to have a data plan to use wifi. Tmobile and at&t you do not have to have one.

@Starr0809 I am buying the E73 Mode unlocked today but I have done my research, At&t makes you have a data plan with a smartphone but there is a way around it, If you buy a non At&t smartphone that At&t has never offered then they will not recognize it making you able to not have a data plan and use the wifi just don't call them asking for help lol also of course it has to be unlocked.

Its possible your Wifi is switch off. Go menu+Manage Connection+Wifi Checkbox tick on+Set Up WiFi Network+Next+Scan For Networks+Auto Searching for Networks when Network found for your modem+Input SSID Numbers+WPA Passwords. You should then be good to go. If not,then you do need to call your phone's carrier. Once you search customer service, you need to be transfer to IT department. They should be able to assist you more.

I will buy this one because I dropped my E71 in a tub of water 5 months ago. It still works pretty good to have been dropped in a tub of water.But the only problem I am having with the E71 now is that after awhile it cuts off on you. I can already tell you the the camera is going to be way better on the E5, and I like the flash light feature. Plus, I like the fact it is a little bigger than the E71. I had to buy a cover for the E71 because for can easily see your finger prints. I hate that.

@MixeTube I bought this phone Thursday, and the first one was just pitiful! I only has it about 5 hours, and that phone went to acting super crazy! The screen kept going black,rebooted over 20 times,your voice echoed every time I said something. Then I thought about where the clerk picked the phone up from the case. That phone was returned at once already..I just know it! Personally, I do like the camera better than the e71. But as a whole, I like the e71 better. Nokia messed up on this one.
