Thank you so much for this. I miss Cairo so much, and I miss its Mulid celebrations whether Mulid el-Nabi, Mulid el Hussein, Mulid el Sayyida Zaynab and all the other. Mulids are the manifestation of Egyptians' devotion to the Saints of Islam in their cheerful and loving ways.

The celebration of Mowlid is against the teaching of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (s), neighter prophet Muhammad (s) ordered sahaba to celebrate it in his life nor Sahaba celebrate it after his the death.

The Prophet also stated what means: "He who inaugurates a good practice (bid'a)in Islam earns the reward of it, and of all who perform it after him, without diminishing their own rewards in the least." Tirmidhi, pg.92.

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Every innovation is misguidance and going astray" Reported by Abu Daawood (no. 4607), at-Tirmidhee (no. 2676) and it is saheeh. Ibn Hajr authenticated it Takhreej Ahaadeeth Ibn ul-Haajib (1/137).

And the Caliph 'Umar once stated what means: "What a wonderful innovation (bid'a) this is!"

The Mawlid is a confirmed Sunna, and your denial of this fact does, in no way, detract from this as being true.

ya Mowlid is a sunnah, but not a Sunnah of prohhet Muhammad(s) becouse he never ordered Muslims to celebarate it, but Mowlid is the Sunnah of ISAAI, Cristians becouse they celebrate the birth day of Prophet Isah(a) as Cristmiss, do you wana follow them, and tell when did prophet born, there is not a single authantic refrance about the date of birth of Prophet Muhammad(s).

What does this have to do with worshiping Jesus? Nothing. Jesus said he was a Prophet of God. Are we now 2 assume that, since Muhammad also claimed prophecy, that we shouldn't follow him?! If you don't approve of the Sunna, then stick with the Wahhabi videos where your comments on "HIslam" are welcome! Observing the Mawlid is not the same as worshiping Muhammad, how improvident can one be?...

My syster, simply answer me, did Sahaba, Tabayeen, Tabey Tabayeen, celebrate Mowlid.......

If they dint clebrate so why do we celebrate it, do you love Prophet Muhammad(s) more then Sahaba!

We r even failed to copy Sahaba in there love with Proohet Muhammad (s) and we r going to introduce cristan ideas in r love with Prophet Muhammad (s)

How can rejoicing at the coming of the Khayrul Barriya be considered a bad thing? Why do you Wahhabis claim Islam as your religion, yet at once harbor such disdain for the Messenger? The Prophet(s), to u Wahhabis, is like a dreaded, deteasted drill sergeant. You hate him, you despise him, you would rather have nothing to do with him, and when he's dead, you rejoice at his demise, yet you obey him out of fear of reprisal, alone!

Sufism is Islam...in fact, there is no Islam in it's complete form without Sufism. On the other hand, one can do quite well without Wahhabism...a.k.a, the Kharajite fitna of our age (HIslam)!

Sufism is Islam, if ti is under the Sharia, Wahabi follow Imam Ahmad bin Hambal, and they are the Imam of Kabbah..
