Didn;t this happen on Christmas Day of 1989. Why were they making Dan Rather work? I guess thats why the show that was on was on since it was daytime TV on Christmas Morning.

Actually, it was recorded in Miami, Florida, in the Eastern time zone. (I used to be btm85bubs.)

No problem- I love this kind of stuff from CBS News & Katie Couric- I have another video of a technical difficulty from the CBS Evening News that I will try to upload soon- For a while I thought some CBS insiders were trying to sabotage her-

I love these kinds of videos, too. Do you have the clip of the infamous meltdown where the audio on the last report crapped out and Couric had to stand silently on the set for nearly two minutes? I almost always record the Evening News, but I missed that day :(
It happened on November 20, 2006.
