  • Can you feel the speed on these things or what? Nice looking train!

  • @edgroove7 Not really. Its pretty smooth and quiet since its not actually touching anything but air. You notice the pass though, since, well, the total speed of the pass is equivalent to a commercial airliner, kinda gets your attention lol.

  • I plan to move to China to start a dimsum service on these trains....much better than the peanuts they give you in the states.

  • A two year old toddler was ran over in the making of this video and nobody in China gave a shit.

  • where in the video was he run over

  • @mad71994 Why? Do you like looking at shit like that you sick fucker?

  • @ratsdownstairs why be a troll? why.??

  • if that thing crashes everybody is screwed. So dangerous

  • @Mohamed636 Well, so far none have crashed, unlike other forms of transportation. And since it runs on a separate track that doesnt cross any roads or other tracks its as safe as it can get.

  • I was waiting it to lift off at any moment lol

  • 3:09 ahaha....

  • Wow. Just watching that video is pretty scary! ;)

Why do they have km/h in English only? There's no Chinese way to write that?

  • I'm having a laugh about 52974 hits, & HAPPY YOU LIKE IT !!!!, TURN UP YOU SPEAKERS OR PUT HEADPHONES ON, Cheers :)

  • Hmm, this is about the fifth video of some fast train I'm looking at....why??

  • ...Wanna feel this..xD

  • The cars look like they are not moving compared to your speed....:D

  • China has MAGLEV, U.S. has buses. Is that a sign or what?

  • @thealestar China got actually ONE Maglev railway and it's pretty short. They bought it from Germany, where it's called Transrapid. It's a german technology.

  • @Rtz321

Yeah,it's a 30 km track to pudong intl airport.

    A very cool airport link.

While we got a rubbish airport link that only tops at 160 km/h.

It's too slow any cars can overtake it.

  • I wonder if this train can go faster than a plane?

  • @marvel85able While it's not quite a Concorde; MagLevs do have the ability to travel at greaters speeds than current jets. They also use much less land than airports. The only current problem is that the technology is very expensive; and has little advantage over normal high speed rail.

  • Great video! The route is so short that the train probably does not have time to maintain cruising speed at all. Just accelerate to about midway and then decelerate the rest of the way.

  • Here in NC we really don't have public transportation as it is actually privately owned.

  • pull emergency stop

  • This shows how far our country (America) has fallen. We are now the tourists with the cameras getting laughed at as we oogle other countries' technology and capabilities....thanks a lot liberals. You have what you want. We are no longer the biggest tree on the island.

Our government sucks waaaayyyy too much to be able to make something like this turn a profit. We can't even figure out Amtrack or the postal service. Private industry is the only way that we (USA) will see this between our shores.

  • @khobyrne Leave the dumb political talk out of this video. Just enjoy the technological marvel this is.

  • If someone ever came with an idea to make trains faster than this .... you die by my hands XD

  • Is the US ever gonna have anything like this connecting most big cities?

No. The "Public Transit" for my city consists of a bus system that barely runs, and uses buses that are 25 years old, if you could even call it a 'public transit' system anymore.

  • @SarraPiyopiyo we aren't in any condition to replace all the tracks seeing our country is almost going to hell if Obama doesn't do something about this debt. Fuck him and the republicans both. they need to work together.

  • @SarraPiyopiyo Americans are just too spoiled with their cars. Public transit will never work when there is no rider. poorly run public transit causes riders to give up. A chicken and egg problem. Have you watched the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" The story was based on how the oil companies eliminated the train tracks networks that used to cover the LA metropolitan area. The big oil and Detroit succeeded. Just look at the highway traffic in LA today.

  • @cplai

It's my experience, from using the London Underground system, that people will use public transport if it is clean and fast as well as reasonably priced especially when using cars is just about impossible.

One problem is that City systems are like a hub with spokes where you have to go into the City and come back out again to get from one spoke to another. This is contra-intuitive as people often want to go to a place not too far away such as a school or shop. It's easier to drive.

  • @SarraPiyopiyo move to china.

  • @SarraPiyopiyo There would be waaay too much lobbying against such a system by car manufacturers, gas providers, airlines, etc. All that corporate money can kill any new good idea. I don't know about other countries, but here our politicians are for sale.

  • @SarraPiyopiyo However the US does have an exceptional interstate highway system that links all major cities by car

  • that was about 30km/20mil in 5 mins....

  • I wish Canada would make Maglev trains. Would be so cool so travel to BC and back in the same day.

  • Wicked! Coming to our town in 15 years.

  • went i went on this in 2008 there was no one else so the cabin was just to my family, it was only opened for like a few months then

  • Are these trains economically feasible for a country like china ? Are the Chinese getting any profits out of these fast trains ?

  • @kallube1 Does everything need a profit?

  • @BillOralRushRimjob Bugatti called. They said "no".

  • @BillOralRushRimjob Feasilbility? Yes, when its been implemented on a large scale using tax dollars. There is no point in spending billions of dollars on a technology when only top 1% can afford it. Profitability ? I think you should read my comment carefully, i used word chinese not chinese govt.

  • @BillOralRushRimjob Um, yes? Absolutely yes. Unless you're willing to do charity work.

  • @Maxables Nope, public infrastructure does not need to make a profit. It isn't charity work, it's taxes. I do not expect it to make money, although it can be made to. Like toll bridges. But if the government isn't strapped for cash, you can have these things free of charge. (don't say nothing is free because you are taxed for it, we all know that, and you know what I mean by "free")

Oh, the joys of good socialism.

  • @BillOralRushRimjob

Providing something free (i.e. without charge) may be economically efficient. But it will distort the market place in other ways. For example, normal roads are free to the user. This means that big heavy trucks get an economic advantage thus allowing their haulage costs to be lower than they otherwise would be.

To offset this governments may collect extra in fuel taxes or annual licence fees. Note that the natural cheapest method of transport is water such as canals.

  • @patrickcorliss I clicked like instead of reply on your comment at first. (Wasn't going to dislike, just wasn't going to like, just so you know.)

Anyway, that is assuming that the government is already in the red or close to it, as we are. But that even doesn't mean you need to offset anything for THIS. You can consider the offsets to be going to any item in the government that is causing a deficit. And since we need infrastructure, I really don't think it matters how we put that on the books.

  • @BillOralRushRimjob

I'm not quite understanding what you are saying. I see the government as a big corporation which makes investments in infrastructure if it can be convinced that the benefits outweight the costs overall. It just has a bigger picture.

Let's take a bridge like the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was formally opened on Saturday 19 March 1932 and has had a toll ever since. This toll is now electronic with most Sydney drivers having a tag.

    Government or private? Who cares?

  • @BillOralRushRimjob

By contrast the newly-built outer suburbs of Sydney are very deficient in puiblic transport. Many areas have no train services and buses are limited. The private buses are subsidized and some are poorly maintained.

So what is stopping private or public investment in this infrastructure. My guess is that the cost of infrastructure (which would include buying the land) is excessive for the expected return.

The other problem, in my view, is that costs are not comparable.

  • @BillOralRushRimjob

No but everything has a cost which must be paid for.

  • @patrickcorliss And then there are investments. Then there are things you need to make payments on. Not everything needs to be paid for in cash 100% on the spot, especially when it is for the good of the people.

    National interstate system, anyone?

  • @BillOralRushRimjob Well, most certainly not! Anyone who argues cost would do well to remember that the government subsidizes, and sometimes outright pays for airports and the biggest money pit in American transit; the Interstate Highway System. Sure. It was great in the 50s. But the truth is that the capacity of roads are limited. Who would drive their car 400 miles and sit in traffic, rather than ride a super-fast train and arrive many times sooner?

  • @BillOralRushRimjob Before an investment you need a profit. No profit no more investments.

  • @kallube1 what profits does some govts get when they hand out benefits to unemployed people........this is a service meant for chinese people to use and benefit........

  • while watching the video, I was just waiting for the take-off

  • its amazing man !!!!!! what a pilot hã ?

  • Are you like australian or something - holy shit that vid is awesome lol ty ty ty

  • Супер поезд, видел

  • thats just frightening..i

  • Amazing!

  • I only say: German technology!

  • KPH?? kilopascals per hour? I'm sure you mean the accepted abbreviation for kilometres an hour, km/h...

  • KPH?? Kilopascals per hour? I'm sure you mean the accepted abbreviation for kilometres an hour, km/h...

  • you cannot die in a transrapid because the grim reaper just can't catch up with you... of course you'd have to stay in that train forever BUT even so, according to Einstein, you'd grow old much slower than does black-hooded death in his ridiculous attempt to get his hands on you... Someday, he'll become demented and forget about you OR God gently and decidedly reminds him of the millions of poor souls not stuck in the transrapid. Ergo: on average people in China live longer if not forever...

  • @Legilimentable: unfortunately people died in a Transrapid-crash in Germany a few years ago...

  • i wonder if superman can stop that

  • how many miles does it take to come to a stop from max speed?

  • Now THAT is impressive. It's like watching a fighter jet swooping in on and past those cars. And yet, it's a train!

  • OMG!!

  • this is awesome

  • if china could privitize its Maglev..all across china.... i am sure... alot of Business investors would jump on the opportunity...... Cuz investors believe china is a save investment as compare to USA or Europe....

  • @watup2154

    thats why communism rules.

Although I do find that the chinese republic should atleast boost living standards to a higher plateau.

I know the chinese head hu jintao and his administery is totally uninterested on boosting such standards but they should take a look at it.

  • traction sound is fantastic, reminds me of class 377 elctrostars

  • You need a utopia before you can build these at every street corner.

  • LOL the train is passing by all the cars like if they were standing :D

  • How fast is the speed of sound?

  • @shonnerdotcom

    1236 kph...786 mph

  • @ 3:06

  • there is some "shock", but train slowed down a lot

  • for me in my place, when the train is run beside the road, car will overtaking the train by the speed.. but not for this train!!!

  • @sqhschief You're the moron for not being able to comprehend the fact that not everyone wants to learn english... Stupid fuckin americunt...

  • @gfruy If you can't speak it, don't try.

  • Please drop dead.

  • @gfruy That's right, defend him you fucking freak.

  • @gfruy Of coarse, it all makes sense now. You're a retarded Mexican that got made fun of because you suck cock at English. If you don't want to learn English then don't goddamn type in English and make yourself look like a 5 year old. Stupid fuckin mexicunt...

  • Of "Coarse" ... YEah, this english connoisseur is for real..... I'm from India BTW... You suck at assuming as well... We guys learn British english, not the twisted mangled up gibberish you guys turned the language into... To top it off, you actually think you've conjured up a new language for yourself by changing "colour" to "color" . What's the matter americunt??? Tired yet??? I can go on forever.

  • @gfruy Of coarse you can go on forever fucking arab, because you have no life. Keep going on all you want, I am done.

  • @sqhschief Just shut up.. you are an embarrasment to humanity.

  • @NestorSanchez3D Thank god you reply to posts that ended 2 months ago; I'm the embarrassment? Motherfucker you can't even spell embarrassment... 'nuff said. Fucking mexican.

  • @sqhschief I'll reply to your 6 day old comment by concurring with them that you are, in fact, a cunt, sir. Knowing 1.3 languages is more than knowing 1, so you are in no position to talk. Fucking asshole.

  • @BillOralRushRimjob So if he knows 1.3 languages then you would rather him type in that .3 language where we can't understand a goddamn thing he says? Makes sense...

  • @sqhschief Lol Cant handle that you're wrong?

  • @sqhschief lol.... you keep proving your stupidity... Arabs are from the middle east not from india... Dumbass... YOu govt should stop your education funding all together...

  • That is insane!

  • I'm working on a Maglev 5 passenger car

  • It would be great if it use for UK (From London to Edinburgh) :)

  • @k3ithwri9ht LOL maglev trains will probably never run over distances that great. the cost would be hundreds of billions of pounds. Maglev trains will only every be practical on short busy routes.

  • @pas7680 Yea, You right and I forget about cost.

But maybe in future train will be upgrade or improve.

  • leave the traiN! I DID'NT know china is soo green!!!

  • Common US time to catch up with China!... :(

  • why dont we have cool stuff like this in the U.S ?

  • @narutocaprirequest2 Because here in the States we have an incredible amount of red tape and NIMBY sentiment preventing cool shit from being built. Same reason why we're still on DSL and cable while some Asian nations use fiber optic.

  • @hoyle1911

i know, but we may get all this stuff after the new world order.

  • @narutocaprirequest2 Because people believe that high speed rail is political (specifically "liberal") and so we hate stuff like that, I guess... or at least people can be convinced that high speed rail is bad and will drum it and the money and jobs out of their states. We're not a smart people.

  • Lol it's funny cause usually on highways the speed limit is about 120Km/h and they look like their going about 10Km/h haha

  • Shanghai looks really pretty.

  • Nice vid.

  • coooool! Cmon America, get going on this type of thing. USA are getting windmills and bicyles lmao. Pathetic im moving.

  • great vid, 5* from me, also that other train surprised me lol

  • it can go to up 582 kmh and they could make it go to 1000kmh but it costs too much.. ahh i want to go to japan

  • @Kep0v It's in China - Shanghai. Not Japan. Know because i've been there

  • Very Fast!!
