As a pilot I found that good pilots have to constantly kiss the airplanes ass, or the plane will eventually kill them. Some people are not capable of doing this, and should not fly: at least in high performance airplanes.

It was a vfr day, no missed approach required. Whether he was long down the runway or most likely not in a stabilized approach for landing, either way it's "Max Power" for the go around. A go around is routine stuff and if you think Osh Kosh or Sun 'n Fun is busy, please by all means fly in and out of Atlanta, Laguardia or Teterboro on a daily basis.

I'd get freaked out...it's like driving 70 on a highway and all of a sudden encountering traffic going 35...take that and multiply factor of 1000.

I fly small planes and airline transport planes and doing a go around during an approach to landing phase is always in the forefront of of my mind regardless of what airport environment I'm currently visiting. From the pictures I have seen, Jack was clearly "behind the airplane". But hey, flame away, just pay full price for next ticket you buy, I have a big boat payment!
I heard that 2 J3 Cubs took off just prior to Jacks Arrival. One had a mechanical failure and the tower asked Jack to go around. Anyone else hear that??

He then gunned the throttle, but by then he had already began to stall. The plane pancaked and the fuselage cracked in half, and Roush ended up needing plastic surgery.
i have a hard time believing Mr. Roush was piloting the jet, he's an incredibly experienced pilot, all he would have to have done would be to open the throttle all the way and tip the nose down and go around for another attempt, very very odd mistake to be made by a pilot of Roush's skill?
