I can sing this song entirely in english, & russian without messing up too badly. The Russian sounds better, in large part, because you likely can't understand the lyrics. The lyrics are way too on the nose, and as a result sound foolish when sung in English. People will disagree with me on this, but I find any English version embarrassing to listen to.

I started watching Full Metal Alchemist a little while before my grandpa died. Believe it or not, this incredible cartoon, its themes of brotherhood, loss and coping with loss have helped me cope with my own and move on.

It's actually a very deep show, with an original story and phenomenal music.

I like the Russian version better for several reasons, but number 1 would probably be that you get the two different brother's singing, for their respective parts, so the song is more complete and makes more sense - as well as that you get the whole song - a verse is missing from the English version.
