Selima i completely understand what you're saying . I usually can't sit through these chit chat sessions because most of them take common sense to figure out. If she has any inclination whatsoever that someone is messing with her child what is there left to think about because it darn sure isn't weighing your relationship against the livelihood / safety of your child (ren). Call the police and tell them about the email. She can be traced and investigated. Let them decide whether it's a hoax or not. Social services investigates and determines whether it's a malicious report or worthy of further action.
An ex of mine knew a similar situation and didn't do anything about it. I did, ended up, it was true and the guy is in jail now. I've been threatened because word got out i blew the whistle, but i look at it like this, children first!! Their safety is first!
