  • I cannot handle food that are too spicy so in this dish can i skip the pepper paste?

  • Did anyone notice Drake's song playing in the background? Lol I was thinking more of a oriental Korean music lol. Haha

  • I just finished following your directions and making this dish. It was absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of living in Korea for about a year and loved this dish at restaurants there. Thank you so much for showing me how to make it myself at home. =)

  • I made this yesterday and it tasted pretty tasty. The only negative aspect is that flavor was a little bland, but overall, it turned out pretty nice!

  • OMG!!I want to try this :D

  • you're likee the coolest korean mum EVER!

  • Hi~ amboishedap,,

Thank you for watching Korean Cuisine.

You can add any kind of meat if you like.

    Have a nice day~^_^*

  • will that kimchi fried rice turn out bad if i add meat on that recipe?

  • nadu juwa means i like it and im korean too there are some bad people there babo sheikis

  • oh my goodness, I want to eat this right now! good instructions btw :)

  • The fire is purple o:

  • Koreancuisine has a some pretty happening music in its background!

  • UMMA!!!

  • @TheSkatinggod576329 Yeah, I just started to get into Korean food and I LOVE it... i was watching a cooking/travel show the other day and they were saying how of all the asian foods, Korean is the least messed around with... it's not like how Chinese and Japanese food have changed to become more "American". You know something easy to make all the time? Dukbokki/Tteokbokki is pretty easy to make... although Kimchi fried rice looks easy too?

  • thanks

  • Love this!! Thanks!

  • i wanna eat the pc

  • if there is no korean store in ur city, where else can u find KIMCHI!?

  • @amyvuelove i recommend u to find and go any Asian market.. like Japanese or Chinese ones. You will find Kimchi probably I am very sure

  • I love how she got drake in the background for music. hahaha ^5 kimchee bokkum bap is my all time FAV

  • Drake killed it on this kimchi fried rice, y'all

  • The preparation looks simple, but the end-product looks delicious. I have to try this at home!

  • Hi. I enjoyed the video. Looks delicious!

  • Thank you for sharing your recipe. This looks really tasty.

  • your awesome

  • Comment removed

  • my mom told me how to make it but its better if i watch a video rofl.

  • looks so good!

    i'm hungry now.

  • SO cool! I'm all hungry now.

  • beautiful woman!!!

  • Does it matter what type of kimchi it is? can i just buy kimchi from the store? the store is an Asian store by the way.

  • @23hkgrl Kimchi at the store is fine, but there's a distinct difference in taste between home-made kimchi vs pre-made.

  • @23hkgrl

kimchi from the store is fine. but when youre making kimchi fried rice and kimchi jjigae.. i find that using kimchi thats "ripe" or been fermenting for a while makes it taste better.. using fresh kimchi kinda makes it not as good...?

  • Hi yamruffles,

Yes,you can add some hot pepper paste too.

Thank you for watching Korean Cuisine~

    Have a good day:)

  • can i not put hot pepper paste?

  • I love your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im so hungry now~~ dont know why im lookin at cookin vids at 11:55 pm... T^T

  • ahh!~ in your information box, u forgot to type in when to add in the rice =). just telling you! ^^

  • ate this in korea.... unfortunately, being chinese.... i gotta say the tastes of our fried rice are so very different.... honestly, if ur a chinese and uve been eating chinese fried rice ur entire life, this will taste mediocre + weird. Sticky rice just doesnt make good fried rice... all im sayin.

  • @Pikaqiu mediocre you say? can you upload your version so that I can learn how to make your version as well? thanks

  • @PsalmsNmyrrh hi are you living in the US? i suggest you to try lemon grass fried rice, i think it suits the western taste pretty well. in southern asia we called it "Nasi Goreng Kerabu" which means salad fried rice. don't get me wrong, the salad we use here consists of fresh veggies such as chopped lemon grass and torch ginger, long beans, bird's eye chillies etc. you can also try Nyonya fried rice or Chinese Yong Chow fried rice, they are very popular here.

  • @Berrymore84 thank you, I was being sarcastic some what with pikaqiu. I think his comment is rude. like he was insinuating chinese rice is better than korean rice. It is a matter of taste and what the individual likes not which is better. I like the recipes you have given me and I have the lemon rice in my favorites....I will look for the others you have posted. thank you very much

  • @PsalmsNmyrrh you're welcome. haha, i guess you're right, there's always a better way of saying it. maybe his palate sticks only to his own cuisine. for me, most important is that we should never restrain ourselves from appreciating other cultures. i love kimchi not only because it tastes naturally great but all the goodness in it. if it's not good, then kimchi means nothing. i think that's what puts kimchi fried rice on the same footing as others. btw hope you enjoy trying out new recipes!

  • @Berrymore84 yes I love all types of recipes especially foreign.

  • @Pikaqiu the kimchi taste is good maybe we should just substitute the sticky rice to leftover rice that stored in fridge for overnight. yeah right we've been so get used to nasi goreng and chinese fried rice...

  • @Pikaqiu i think the reason why they use sticky or Japanese rice is because the kimchi itself already juicy so the combination of both materials give its special texture, as opposed to nasi goreng or Chinese fried rice whose flavor arose best when the dry/hard rice is used. no matter what, i love all of them.

  • not korean so wud store bought be ok and could u also add any meet u like

  • hey this isnt about cooking but i just love your hair its so nice and it flicks out so nicely

  • i think that i've heard jay park's park cover song "best i ever had" from somewhere. today i'm watching this video again then i realize haha it's the begining song from this video. my friend bought gochujang from korea yesterday i'm going to cook this food ^^yummy.

  • she got drake in da background?? haha =]

    looks goooodd =P yummy

  • That looks so yummy I'm definitely going to try it with the fried egg on top!

  • I only miss the red pepper paste (they didn't have it at the asian grocery last time I went) but I'm definitely going to try this RIGHT NOW!

    Mmmm!

  • Actually, you don't have to add red pepper paste. Other recipes just use addition kim chee liquid to add more spicy or kim chee flavor.

  • great! thank you

  • This looks like the yummiest version of kimchi fried rice I've seen yet. You add a lot of ingredients to create a complex and rich tasting fried rice. I will definitely be trying this
