  • D Sonic slays in this comparison, both clean and dirty. It's clearer AND heavier. The bottom end is more articulate and there's more of it. The SD bottom is like the woof of a low quality subwoofer compared to the musical low end of the D Sonic.

  • what amp are you using in this video?

  • which is ur favourite in ur opinion?

  • @yangadoshi I Prefer the D sonic! Actually I bought it to replace the TB6.

Duncan is a bit heavier but D sonic is more clearly

  • i prefer the DiMarzio D Sonic, not only because of the sound, they look really good aesthetically

How much did you pay for them'?

  • @javiXYX just about 60 bucks :D

  • D SONIC FTW

  • I've played duncan distirtions for years, the TB6 is slightly darker sounding than the SH6, and I also own a D sonic. The Duncan distortion sounds heavier but the d Sonic has clearer mids

  • Which way was the bar facing in the D sonic??

  • @jerryzkidz99 the bridge!

  • The SD in this one sounds a little more like an active pickup here, at least to me. Not that it's bad, just not quite my thing. The D-Sonic is a little tighter and has a little more top-end bite; I adore that pickup in my Ibanez.

  • what guitar did you use?

  • @grajdaninzz my custom made PRS style

  • @liembk thnx

  • the duncan distortion is alot more aggressive sounding....so i vote for that

  • 0:04 vs 0:29 clean signal

    0:16 vs 0:41 coil split

    0:52 vs 1:34 drive
