Koopas don't "die" when jumped on, they make a ball, and if you hit it again it will start rolling + green Koopas run off gaps! Maybe a bit hard, but in total cool game! :) :P
If so very impressive :) A couple of sound issues though, so you might want to watch when multiple sounds are being played. Could be a layering issue.

Nice! But from what I remember from my experiences with python, it was slow. I guess the interpreter has sped up over the years.
