While I like the new TG I must admit that THIS format of TG is the one that will stay in my heart. Old TG was more about the admiration of cars and the stories around them, it appealed to the fascinated mind rather than trying to be entertaining and comedic.
Only the '69 Eagle of Dan Gurney looked better, but no doubt this was a better weapon all round. Shame the Brabham 'simply' (in the literal sense) beat the Lotus 49 in it's debut year and took the 1969 championship, but that's racing.
Repect for anyone that can drive a 400 bhp car with no spoiler or seat belt and not die.
