Take a look at the locations of all the OTHER buildings that were damaged in the fall of the two towers. 7 was the closest. Had the other buildings, the Verizon building in particular, been built in the same way as 7, they would have also collapsed. They didn't not because of distance, but because they had concrete facades, concrete and brick fireproofing (as opposed to drywall) and concrete reinforcing around the steel columns. It loses its structural strength, it pushes against the steel next to it, and buckles and bends. Add to this the fact that many columns were already broken, and the floors had been smashed, then structural integrity is impaired.

Demolition experts know to cut core columns the root support. Because steel holds it together. It can and thats how you do it. Theres 239 elevators in the complex.
There was no concrete present in the core, the core was steel lined with drywall, and stairs made of concrete, but this added nothing to the rigidity of the building. The only structural concrete was in the floors, which braced the walls against the core and vice versa. Break the concrete floors, the walls and core are completely unsupported, the whole thing comes crashing down.

Cars that were not burnt just from the dust have corroded. And mythbusters didnt make the same thermite right. Its like making gun powder. To much of one to little of another you get fizzle or degrees of effectiveness. Well have you seen the videos of the workers removing the debris 3 weeks later to find molten steel still hot.
Heres a video of someone who made a homemade batch of thermite. unlike the professional stuff you can see it is pretty effective. And if they added sulfer to it the iron would stay liquid longer.

I am beginning to think that the problem here is that the non-engineering trained public doesn't really understand just how soft steal gets when you heat it. Think about a blacksmith. You CANNOT bend a horseshoe with a hammer when it is cold. But heat it and you can bend it easy. Heated steal columns are not going to support half a skyscraper! Also, skyscrapers only fall straight down! They cant fall like a tree!

You know how they demolish buildings? They blow out the bottom and the weight and momentum of the top of the building crushes the floors below. This is what happened here. The weight of the top 20 or 30 storeys overwhelmed each and every one of the floors below them, one at a time, the smashed floors adding to the mass of the falling body.
Actually if you watch the demolition shows they blow out the supports on every floor so that there is no resistance to for the building to accidently pivot outward from a target footprint. However steel girders dont smash steel girders.
What happened here is a MASSIVE weight being dropped onto the lower 60 or 70 floors of the world trade center. This weight EASILY snapped the girders beneath, and pulverised the concrete and everything else.

If that was the case the first floors would have been blown out having all that weight on top plus the force. After looking at it on satellite. Looks to be the building behind 7. But if 7 was damaged on the front it would not make sense for it to fall towards the back. However 90% fell in its footprint and the rest spilled into the street. And being the inside corner of this building is damage looked like something was hurled sideways into it. And "not" dropped on it. since the rest of the building that has equal facing to 7 is not damaged.

Mech engineers are not trained in structural design and certainly not demolition. A thermo class is the closest you ever got to structurally designing a building. Maybe you could explain the molten metal at the bottom of the buildings? The fire nor jet fuel was hot enough to produce molten metal. You should know this. Was it friction from the collapse? It was not just the fire. There was the matter of a Boeing 767 crashing into two towers, and two towers falling on building seven, and the structural damage caused by these collisions.

The pillars were fireproofed with brick and terracotta, not drywall,and there were pillars throughout the building, not clearspan floors. They were NOT built the same. The WTC had as little concrete as possible, because of the escalating price of concrete in the 70s.
Except the concrete did not encase the columns. The FLOORS and STAIRS were made from concrete, the core and outer columns were steel, and the fireproofing was drywall. The theory was that the internal flexibility provided by the steel's tension would be enough to hold the whole thing up in hurricane conditions, but they did not count on so many floors being destroyed and columns cut.

I work on aircraft..large birds tear holes up the leading edges of wings when struck at high speeds. They look like crush tin cans when pilots bail out and it hits the ground... Columns were hollow yes but i couldnt put my arms around one 6inch thick each side. Nothings that thick on an airplane.
A Boeing 767 is rated rather higher than a Cessna. You know what happens when a large bird hits a 767? Not much. It took a WHOLE FLOCK OF GEESE to foul the engines of that plane that crashed into the Hudson, and the wing was undamaged.
And what else could cause such damage, in such a pattern, if not a plane?
And what could cause such fireballs if not large amounts of fuel sprayed into the air from the tanks of said plane?
I worked on jet fighters not slow props. And the geese fodded the engine the plane did not get up to high speed. BUt there are plenty of pictures of bird strike damages. And birds are nothing compared to steel walls. As with the fireballs. I'd have to ask hollywood how they do it.
Im sure if you put this on your car and run it into a wall that it would be impact resistant.. LOL I would of banked that the plane tail would be sticking out but not going through the building like butter without making a big crimp in the outside structure.

Actually, the Empire State Building WAS made from steel, with concrete reinforcement, a concrete facade. Therefore STRONGER than steel.
And for the most effective results, you have to actually penetrate the ship before the explosives go off. Therefore the kamikaze planes were built for speed, to penetrate the decks of ships and therefore do maximum damage.
The plane crash zone was about 5 storeys. That means that the top 10 or 20 floors would have had to fall about 5 storeys before hitting the intact storeys beneath. The weight of ten storeys falling five storeys was enough to overwhelm the first intact floor, which added its own mass to the floor beneath and so forth the whole way down.
Which, funnily enough, is the exact way demolitions happen.
the plane is not 5 storys tall. and there is the core columns in the middle of the building if even half of them were busted through the top would possible flop over not collapse into. and the building was holding its own weight up. If like your saying the top fell 5 storys means that the 5 storys was blasted out of the way. All in all the steel columns would not collapse it supports itself and a hammer would only drive it into the dirt not disentigrate it.
The floors on five of the storeys were damaged by the initial crash, decompression and fuel/air explosion. You can see this damage in the photos taken on that day, and the eyewitness accounts of those who were in those buildings backs this up.
Theres a difference in facial damage and complete core column damage. And we know the fires were not that bad from pictures of people standing in the hole. and if the core was damaged it should of fell over then not implode on itself... Id say your a disinfo agent.
So the fires were not that bad? Except you maintain that thermite was used. You know how hot thermite burns? Had thermite been used in the area to create the plane hole, then no people would have been able to get anywhere near the place.
THermite doesnt explode demolitions do. If the demolitions were timed so was the thermite.ANd they would have been on the main core columns in the elevator shafts not in office space.
So how did they get the demolition charges to go off right on time? And how did they get the people to actually install the explosives, without anybody noticing and either without the people installing the explosives not knowing, or having them willing to keep quiet even knowing that the building was going to be destroyed from within?
And what do you believe cut the exterior columns in the first place, if not a plane? And what about that fireball that looks like a fuel/air explosion?
Its called a sequencer detonator. Demolitionist use them to blow columns exactly at the same time or stagger the explosions depending on what they are removing. 249 elevators surround the core collumns. People claiming to network cables can easily hide what they are doing inside elevator shafts. Plant and wire. Who would notice? Your hidden in an elevator shafts. Using networking as a front. The people who do this are professionals LIke our CIA in covert operations.
So they would have had to put explosive detonators, carefully sequenced, on each and every one of those core columns and each and every floor... How many people would have to do this, and what evidence do you have that they did this? And you are forgetting that there were core sections that did not immediately fall, they can clearly be seen above still standing for a couple of seconds above the dust clouds, indicating that it was failure of the floors and not the columns.
I maintain thermite was used to cut the core columns with a secondary explosive to dislodge the pieces. Even with the satilite thermo views you can see square heat signatures. wheres the rest of the fires. Why are the columns creating heat that can be seen from space through a building. Thats pretty hot. Thermite reaction gets that hot.
I don't know what it is but I do know it's highly unlikely for the support columns of a steel frame building to collapse at the same speed and time as each other all the way down. Whatever happened to this building, the support columns seem not to have been affected.

Take a look at the locations of all the OTHER buildings that were damaged in the fall of the two towers. 7 was the closest. Had the other buildings, the Verizon building in particular, been built in the same way as 7, they would have also collapsed. They didn't not because of distance, but because they had concrete facades, concrete and brick fireproofing (as opposed to drywall) and concrete reinforcing around the steel columns. In a word, they were STRONGER.

Not "bend" Those are the MELTING POINTS. They go LIQUID at those temperatures. What happens to steel (at much lower temperatures) is that it expands. It loses its structural strength, it pushes against the steel next to it, and buckles and bends. Add to this the fact that many columns were already broken, and the floors had been smashed, then structural integrity is impaired.

Well, I know from personal experience that rails buckle at as little as 43degrees C. We had to find alternative transport on that day.Now the WTC had more structural integrity than a rail, but at 600 degrees, and with the drywall fire protection blown away, you would think that at least some of those girders would have buckled, not to mention those broken in the crash.

each floor is tied to the outside and inside support core. Each floor is over a foot thick of concrete. the supports were to hold the floor molds while the concrete was poured. theres tons of rebar. a 600 degree fire would not do squat to concrete nor girder. a grease cooker can heat up to 450. Alot of ovens can go hotter than that and they are thin metal. the way the building was designed is like a birdcage. YOu can punch wholes in it but the net of the outside would still support the remaining

Building Seven was in the way. The south face of building seven took the brunt of the collapse of Tower One. You can see that in the video.
Plus the rubble that is stuck in thirty west broadway does not resemble the facade of WTC1. It resembles the facade of WTC7.

Nano thermate, or whatever the additional energy source is, was used to cut and weaken the core columns. Once they go, the structure can be crunched down like it was with the top 1/5 of the building in a gravity assisted demolition.
Though I could be wrong, an additional energy source is needed none the less to at least weaken the core columns.

But the buildings did not fall at freefall speeds. Look at the pieces of facade that were thrown clear. They fell almost twice as fast as the main avalanche of debris.
The floorplans of the WTC (buildings 1,2, and 7 were clear span, meaning that there were no pillars to get in the way. Falling debris would have instantly smashed the floor beneath it, and this floor would actually add its own weight to the falling weight of the building. No thermite,thermate,or explosives needed.

A) Marvin Bush was not in charge of security there. Security for the entire complex was done by the Port Authority Police Department. It was not subcontracted to anybody. Plus the different tenants handled their own security, and these people died too.
84 PAPD officers died, plus John O'Neill, head of WTC security, and this number does not count the private security officers for the individual tenants, many of whom died while evacuating the tenants in their charge.

Securacom was looking after electronic security. The PAPD was looking after the actual guards, and the major tenants provided their own guards. ALL of these guards would have been highly trained in detecting explosives, as the WTC had been attacked before. Nobody would have been able to take large quantities of explosives or thermite into those buildings.
And the contract ended when the buildings fell down because THEY NO LONGER EXISTED.

WTC suffers structural damage from plane impacts.
Fire proofing is either blown or dislodged from the impacts in and near the impact areas.
Fire weakens the steel and along with an already damaged structure and unable to hold the weight of the floors above columns give out and the collapse starts.

Yes, you can compare these events. It is quite interesting knowing that some ammonium nitrate destroyed the entire facade of a building. Exploding UP and OUT without damaging the load bearing supports.
With Number 7, the damage, not being catastrophic the building stood. It was not leaning to one side, nor engulfed in flames, and of course not struck by an airplane.
The building stood for hours after 1 and 2 had fallen then fell suddenly symmetrically into it;'s own footprint.

Again, another funny coincidence. Many buildings were severly damaged after the falls. Ironically, many that surrounded the ENTIRE plaza. No other building fell that day. No other building to catch fire (severely, to my knowledge.)

Irrelevant. Knowing that all skyscrapers are different, yet all the same. All have hardened steel frames. Buildings aren't hardened with aluminum, it's steel specifically. Specifically for it's strength and it's ability to absorb air pressure for flexing, WIND SHEAR.
Fire needs fuel to grow. When the fuel runs out, the fire becomes starved and will eventually cool and die.

The times are right, sorry kiddo check the seismographs. Also it did fall into itself, even when the second tower started leaning off to the side yet still didn't topple (Path of least action).
I can only conclude what the buildings show, anything else is subjective. A building can't fall that quickly (Retained potential energy) *and* pulverize the central columns, the concrete, the outer walls, all the floor panels, etc.

The "thermite traces" were traces of certain substances that can be associated with thermite residue. The thing is, that those substances were present in the cement, the steel, the drywall and the aluminium of the WTC, and not ALL the compounds associated with thermite are present in the WTC dust.

No, substances ASSOCIATED with the combustion of thermite. These substances can be produced by other means, like using oxyacetaline equipment to cut steel and aluminium.
And it was not ALL of the substances associated with the combustion of thermite. Only some of them. For there to have been thermite residues ALL the compounds that are associated with thermite combustion have to be there, not one or two.

Its a process of developement in making this special brand of thermate. Thermate TM. is used as a chemical reaction to melt steel. Its perpose is to quickly cut steel. Then after demolition charges blow the supports out. Thats its use. Cut core columns.

Well squirelbut I can explain nano thermite..IT DOESN"T EXiST. There is no such thing as actual nano thermite. What was found is elements of thermite MINUS the reactive ingrediant. What is very interesting is that the elements are also found in the paint primer used in towers 1 and 2 WTC, and dry wall ( WTC1&2 had tons and tons of dry wall ) nanothermite is a made up thing.

Molten lava metal under the foundation doesnt melt by alpha fires and stay melted for 21 days. WHat demolition experts are you talking about? Thermate melts steel. Now you have a building thats only remaining support is concrete. Blow away the concrete with high explosives you have a building collapsing at free fall. Demolition experts know to cut core columns the root support. Because steel holds it together. It can and thats how you do it. Theres 239 elevators in the complex.

The STEEL was NOT molten.
There was no concrete present in the core, the core was steel lined with drywall, and stairs made of concrete, but this added nothing to the rigidity of the building. The only structural concrete was in the floors, which braced the walls against the core and vice versa. Break the concrete floors, the walls and core are completely unsupported, the whole thing comes crashing down.

THermate is a chemical reaction the steel stays in a extreme heated state. And yes if they found in in all the dust even on top of other buildings then yes alot was used. Cars were corroding from it. a couple of tons but not thousands of tons.

The cars were not corroding from it, the corrosion is what happens after a car is burnt out. The paint is gone, the steel underneath corrodes.
The steel does not stay in an extreme heated state, the heat is lost through convection,
And if you set fire to a ton of thermite or thermate, it burns through much quicker than that. Look at the clip where the Mythbusters use it to cut a car in half. They used a LOT of it. It burned out, and it wasnt very long till the steel solidified again.

Cars that were not burnt just from the dust have corroded. And mythbusters didnt make the same thermite right. Its like making gun powder. To much of one to little of another you get fizzle or degrees of effectiveness. Well have you seen the videos of the workers removing the debris 3 weeks later to find molten steel still hot.

I am beginning to think that the problem here is that the non-engineering trained public doesn't really understand just how soft steal gets when you heat it. Think about a blacksmith. You CANNOT bend a horseshoe with a hammer when it is cold. But heat it and you can bend it easy. Heated steal columns are not going to support half a skyscraper! Also, skyscrapers only fall straight down! They cant fall like a tree!

You know how they demolish buildings? They blow out the bottom and the weight and momentum of the top of the building crushes the floors below. This is what happened here. The weight of the top 20 or 30 storeys overwhelmed each and every one of the floors below them, one at a time, the smashed floors adding to the mass of the falling body.

Actually if you watch the demolition shows they blow out the supports on every floor so that there is no resistance to for the building to accidently pivot outward from a target footprint. However steel girders dont smash steel girders.

What happened here is a MASSIVE weight being dropped onto the lower 60 or 70 floors of the world trade center. This weight EASILY snapped the girders beneath, and pulverised the concrete and everything else.

If that was the case the first floors would have been blown out having all that weight on top plus the force. It would be like hiting a chisel. 1 or 2 floors of weight would not disentigate 4 -6 inch thick steel in 3 foot columns right below them. and notice the cloud of dust blowing outward like a mushroom cloud. unlike building 7 which just vanished into itself bottom up.

After looking at it on satellite. Looks to be the building behind 7. But if 7 was damaged on the front it would not make sense for it to fall towards the back. However 90% fell in its footprint and the rest spilled into the street. And being the inside corner of this building is damage looked like something was hurled sideways into it. And "not" dropped on it. since the rest of the building that has equal facing to 7 is not damaged.

Mech engineers are not trained in structural design and certainly not demolition. A thermo class is the closest you ever got to structurally designing a building. Maybe you could explain the molten metal at the bottom of the buildings? The fire nor jet fuel was hot enough to produce molten metal. You should know this. Was it friction from the collapse? Why not use your so called expertise in your field of study instead of pretending to understand structures? You make other engineers look bad.

It was not just the fire. There was the matter of a Boeing 767 crashing into two towers, and two towers falling on building seven, and the structural damage caused by these collisions.
And there HAVE been examples of steel framed buildings collapsing due to fire previously.

The Verizon building was built in the 30s and was made to house the heavy telecommunications communication equipment that they had back then. Reinforced concrete walls. The pillars were fireproofed with brick and terracotta, not drywall,and there were pillars throughout the building, not clearspan floors. They were NOT built the same. The WTC had as little concrete as possible, because of the escalating price of concrete in the 70s.

Except the concrete did not encase the columns. The FLOORS and STAIRS were made from concrete, the core and outer columns were steel, and the fireproofing was drywall. The theory was that the internal flexibility provided by the steel's tension would be enough to hold the whole thing up in hurricane conditions, but they did not count on so many floors being destroyed and columns cut.

These planes were no tin cans... The actual skin of these planes were made from something called GLARE, which is a laminate, made to withstand high impact and massive stresses that come with large passenger aircraft. And the columns were not SOLID steel anyway. They were hollow, to keep the weight down. Yes, the plane smashed through the steel. The plane was wrecked in the process. You think maybe the whole thing would have bounced off the side? The WTC was not armored you know...

I work on aircraft..large birds tear holes up the leading edges of wings when struck at high speeds. They look like crush tin cans when pilots bail out and it hits the ground... Columns were hollow yes but i couldnt put my arms around one 6inch thick each side. Nothings that thick on an airplane.

A Boeing 767 is rated rather higher than a Cessna. You know what happens when a large bird hits a 767? Not much. It took a WHOLE FLOCK OF GEESE to foul the engines of that plane that crashed into the Hudson, and the wing was undamaged.

I worked on jet fighters not slow props. And the geese fodded the engine the plane did not get up to high speed. BUt there are plenty of pictures of bird strike damages. And birds are nothing compared to steel walls. As with the fireballs. I'd have to ask hollywood how they do it.

That plane, unpressurised, made from nonlaminiated aluminium, much smaller, much slower, much lighter, punched a hole clear through the masonry of the Empire State Building. And what about those balsa wood planes piloted by kamikazes during world war II? I recall they sunk whole ships with them.

Actually, the Empire State Building WAS made from steel, with concrete reinforcement, a concrete facade. Therefore STRONGER than steel.
And for the most effective results, you have to actually penetrate the ship before the explosives go off. Therefore the kamikaze planes were built for speed, to penetrate the decks of ships and therefore do maximum damage.

The plane crash zone was about 5 storeys. That means that the top 10 or 20 floors would have had to fall about 5 storeys before hitting the intact storeys beneath. The weight of ten storeys falling five storeys was enough to overwhelm the first intact floor, which added its own mass to the floor beneath and so forth the whole way down.
Which, funnily enough, is the exact way demolitions happen.

the plane is not 5 storys tall. and there is the core columns in the middle of the building if even half of them were busted through the top would possible flop over not collapse into. and the building was holding its own weight up. If like your saying the top fell 5 storys means that the 5 storys was blasted out of the way. All in all the steel columns would not collapse it supports itself and a hammer would only drive it into the dirt not disentigrate it.

The floors on five of the storeys were damaged by the initial crash, decompression and fuel/air explosion. You can see this damage in the photos taken on that day, and the eyewitness accounts of those who were in those buildings backs this up.

Its called a sequencer detonator. Demolitionist use them to blow columns exactly at the same time or stagger the explosions depending on what they are removing. 249 elevators surround the core collumns. People claiming to network cables can easily hide what they are doing inside elevator shafts. Plant and wire. Who would notice? Your hidden in an elevator shafts. Using networking as a front. So they would have had to put explosive detonators, carefully sequenced, on each and every one of those core columns and each and every floor... How many people would have to do this, and what evidence do you have that they did this? And you are forgetting that there were core sections that did not immediately fall, they can clearly be seen above still standing for a couple of seconds above the dust clouds, indicating that it was failure of the floors and not the columns.

I maintain thermite was used to cut the core columns with a secondary explosive to dislodge the pieces. Even with the satilite thermo views you can see square heat signatures. wheres the rest of the fires. Why are the columns creating heat that can be seen from space through a building. Thats pretty hot. Thermite reaction gets that hot.
