  • Lester, It is good to see you. I would love to be able to get in touch with you all. I knew you when you played in Boston in the late sixties. I'm very sorry to hear about your health issues. I will keep you in my prayers. I have tried to get in touch with George but failed. Can you give me the name of the Church he is at? You are amazing!!! Watching you is such an enjoyment for me. Hope to hear back from you.

  • Lester (almost my brother-in-law), I love you and I send up prayers for you and pray that the doctors will find a cure for all your health problems. Linda

  • haha - the white guys like just sing us some mississippi stuff and lester jumps on it without hesitation

  • Awesome! This guy can hit a high note like nobody I've ever seen are heard before. Lester and his band Blew the roof off the place and I felt so privileged to be witnessing a master! GO SEE HIM!!!

  • What a fine, and gentle man. From what I've read about Lester, and his family they are top shelf. Lester, I love "People Get Ready, and remember watching live on TV when you, and your brothers sang the song. May the Lord be with you, and the rest of your family.

  • I was a little redheaded boy growing up in oakland when i snuck into a church that had the chambers brothers playing "time has come today".i was blown away, and i really liked the drummer, who also happened to be the only other white person there, and with red hair!!!!
