@hup53 its probly just a littl uncomfortable for me to shoot prone because im pretty boney, still love it! i use hoppes number 9 to get all of the powder ressadue off and then use rem oil as well, after its all clean i use some gun lube(cant remember the kind i use) just make sure you oil the hell out of the bore or it WILL rust

I must say, the mosin-nagant, at least for me, shoots quite comfortably in the prone as well as standing. I love mine!! Quck question though...what does everyone use to clean out their bores after firing surplus corrosive ammo??? I'm quite curious on this...
