Making reference to the portuguese relentless discovery expeditions. And yes, roughly 380,000 (stat from Census Canada) Portuguese born or 2nd gen. portuguese live in Toronto. There are more portuguese speaking individuals in Toronto than any city in the world outside of Lisbon and Rio.
